  1. No CS although it would have been. Knoth struck out the hitter looking on the pitch.
  2. Knoth hit by a 101 EV comebacker in the foot/ankle area. Stayed in the game, but he walked the next hitter on 4 badly missed pitches. I wonder if he will stay in the game beyond this inning.
  3. Today is the day that Dorrian snaps the skid. I feel it in my bones.
  4. It definitely didn't look good. Not sure on severity but he seems like a lock to hit the IL. Have to imagine Monasterio was scratched for that reason.
  5. Looks like Monasterio is being called up for Wiemer. He was scratched from the Nashville lineup after originally being listed as a starter.
  6. Chourio was set to pinch hit against Lovelady a LHP and Counsell countered by going to Alzolay a RHP.
  7. OF Christian Yelich (low back strain) Expected return: May It's a familiar ailment for Yelich, who has battled back issues since his mid-20s with the Marlins. The latest bout came amid a torrid start to the season, knocking him out of the Brewers' April 12 series opener in Baltimore. Yelich had already been doing better running and throwing before a minor breakthrough on May 3 at Wrigley Field, when he had his best session yet swinging the bat in the cage. His goal, he said, is to play before the end of the Brewers' current road trip. (Last updated: May 3)
  8. I'd bet it's just Owen Miller if Wiemer has to go on the IL especially with Yelich supposedly nearing a return.
  9. I was referring to BruisedCrew's original comment that started the exchange: "The powerhouse Yankees lineup that scored 30 runs in 2 games against the Brewers managed 6 total runs while losing 3 of 4 to the Orioles. "
  10. Make that 0 for his last 35 and 1 for his last 53 for Patrick Dorrian as he strikes out looking against a 94mph FB right down the middle.
  11. Oh come on Bruised. It was pretty obvious the point your original comment was trying to make. Everyone knows you're the resident pessimist and the way you worded your comment made it pretty clear you were trying to say the Brewers pitching sucks without directly saying it.
  12. The Loons hitters were absolutely clueless against Herrera's slider. Constantly chasing it and swinging over the top of it. That was a dominant 3 innings from him.
  13. Herrera is absolutely shoving my goodness.
  14. Patrick Dorrian is playing pretty much everyday and has 1 hit since the start of April. He's 0 for his last 33 and 1 for 51 since the start of April
  15. I swear an 8 year playing MLB the Show would sequence pitches better than him.
  16. Especially with Nick Kahle catching him, who is probably the last player I would want catching a guy debuting in AAA against a formiddable lineup.
  17. No I'm saying gameday and savant literally have the pitch grazing the strike zone but it was called a ball. I've never seen that before.
  18. I just witnessed the ABS system get a call wrong...can't say I have ever seen that before.
  19. Vinny Capra with the classic make 2 of your teams 3 outs in an inning.
  20. Woessner's first AAA inning didn't go well. 2 HR given up.
  21. Pretty sure AA and AAA use the same baseballs. They didn't last season in the first half obviously, but pretty sure AA, AAA, and MLB are supposed to be using the same ball with A and A+ using a different ball. I think the AAA ERA being so high is mostly because the automated strike zone is significantly smaller than human zones in AA.
  22. Shows how good the 19-11 Brewers are for being a bullpen letdown away from sweeping the Orioles in their own house. The Orioles that haven't been swept in like 100 or something series in a row.
  23. In addition to those names: SS Luis Lameda promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 RHP Dikember Sanchez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 C Yannic Walther promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 1 SS Pedro Ibarguen promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 C Eric Martinez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 SS Gery Holguin promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 1 RHP Aneuris Rodriguez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 SS Filippo Di Turi promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 RHP Ismael Yanez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 OF Antony Gomez promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 2 SS Luiyin Alastre promoted to ACL Brewers from DSL Brewers 1 Interestingly no Demetrio Nadal.
  24. He's already been optioned back down to AAA. Only up for 1 day.
  25. I’ll got 15-13.
