  1. Literally did that right above and you even commented on me checking myself. I try to keep all my comments based on fact/reality and not wild opinions that aren't remotely associated with reality like your post that started all of this. Your post that said Burnes throws all of his pitches around the same speed and that's why he struggles when in reality he doesn't throw any 2 pitches the same speed other than his 2 FB especially with his new sweeper that he's using in place of his slider. FB Sinker - 95 FB Cutter - 94 CH - 89 SL - 85 CB - 80 4 pitch types with unique velocities and movement profiles. Not even close to 4 pitches that are around the same velocity.
  2. Must be super weird seeing someone say something not accurate and correct themselves when they realize it was incorrect. Real foreign concept to someone like you whose reaction to being corrected by someone is trying to physically fight them.
  3. Wisconsin is technically still in contention because Cedar Rapids won the 1st half so 2nd place in the 2nd half makes the playoffs but it's not a very real chance of making the playoffs. Peoria is 3 games up and I am pretty sure they own the tiebreaker. That means WI needs to go 5-1 against Cedar Rapids this week and Peoria would need to go 1-5 against the Beloit team that Wisconsin just swept. Not very likely. If I had to bet, I would probably bet Wilken gets a cup of coffee in AA either once Wisconsin is eliminated or once the season is over and then head to Biloxi for their final week.
  4. Yeah me misremembering how long the winning streak was isn't the same as bulldogboy being negative in every single game thread and making up things to be negative about when those things are very much not true.
  5. Since June 1st the Brewers are 13th in the MLB in runs scored. Since July 1st the Brewers are 11th in the MLB in runs scored. Since August 1st the Brewers are 10th in the MLB in runs scored. The offense has been fine over the last 3 months. Yeah they have nights like tonight where they can't string enough hits together with RISP but they have just as many other nights where they do string together hits and score runs. Burnes coming into today had an 81 ERA- which was 27th out of 105 pitchers with 100 IP this season. 19% better than league average ERA and 27th out of 105 SP with a reasonable amount of innings pitched = league average pitcher I guess.
  6. Yes sorry 9 game winning streak. But hey we lost to the Pirates so the sky is falling and they are trash and will miss the playoffs.
  7. We are less than 7 days removed from a 9 game win streak.
  8. Brewers are 47-35 since June 1st. 7th best in the MLB in that time. Brewers are 33-22 since July 1st. 6th best in the MLB in that time. Brewers are 19-11 since August 1st. 6th best in the MLB in that time. Maybe we don't need to have meltdowns every single time this team loses a game. This isn't a 17 game NFL season or 12 game college football season. The Brewers are 2.5 games up in the division and 6 games up over the first team out of the WC race. The sky is not falling.
  9. I don't know what's more sad. The fact your panties are in a bunch from me calling out your nonsense or the fact you're trying to fight me in person because of it. Either way it's absolutely sad.
  10. I already told you if I heard you say Burnes struggles because he throws all of his pitches around the same velocity in person I would have 100% said you're full of **** and that's not remotely true. I have zero issues calling out nonsense in person.
  11. Posting actual facts isn't an opinion "bro"
  12. Burnes throwing all of his pitches around the same velocity isn't an opinion. An opinion would be Burnes throws his cutter too much and his breaking balls not enough. If I heard you say that Burnes struggles because he throws all of his pitches the same velo in a bar I would absolutely laugh and call it out for being utter nonsense. So tired of people making up stuff on this board as irrefutable fact and then crying when the utter nonsense gets called out. I bet Brandon Woodruff and his max-min velo diffence of 96 and 83 also throws his pitches the same velo and struggles because of it.
  13. What? His second most used pitch is an 80mph CB that's 14mph difference between his cutter? Just spew some total nonsense some more.
  14. Yelich just has looked flat out bad at the plate over the last 4+ weeks
  15. They have just totally fallen off a cliff at the plate since the ASB. Pre ASB - 102 wRC+, 4.6 runs per game Post ASB - 76 wRC+, 3.6 runs per game Add them to the list of teams we played while they were hot and the Cubs are playing when they are ice cold.
  16. Hopefully it doesn't have to come down to that with us facing Salem who hasn't been good.
  17. Yeah there’s just zero reason to say Nadal is on the same level of prospect status as any of those guys. Nadal was an over age DSL repeater. He’s 3 months younger than Luke Adams who had many dominant stretches playing 2 levels above Nadal. Bitonti is actually 16 months younger than Nadal. Nadal had a great season no doubt but he needs to show quite a bit more before he’s on the same level as any of those guys you listed.
  18. John Cassidy went 1-20 for the Brooklyn Atlantics in 1875 and Jack Nabors went 1-20 for the Philadelphia Athletics in 1916. Those are the 2 worst records minimum 1 loss I can find in MLB history. Post integration the worst I can find is Mike Parrott who went 1-16 for the Mariners in 1980. He won the season opener then lost 16 straight to end the year. He was traded to the Brewers in March of 1982 for Thad Bosley but never played another MLB game after the trade. Anthony Young also went 1-16 for the Mets in 1993. Between May 1992 and July 1993 he lost 27 straight decisions which is the longest losing streak in MLB history. So Greinke is flirting with history at 1-14.
  19. 2 series left for AA. We play Birmingham this coming week then we play Montgomery in the final week. Hopefully the extra game for them doesn’t end up mattering
  20. Well that absolutely sucks if true. That means no stream for the 3 game divisional playoff series.
  21. @Joseph Zarr, @damuelle, @Mass Haas do any of you know how home seed is determined for the full season divisional playoff rounds? I'm seriously hoping it goes by overall season record and not 1st half hosts because Down East won the first half and Down East games aren't streamed...
  22. One of my favorite prospect twitter follows who just finished up working with the Cubs this summer has Wilken 51 on his Top 100. The good contact doesn't seem as surprising when you find out his swing is a bit on the flat side. Pretty glowing review. I have a feeling Wilken gets to finish the year at AA after Wisconsin's season is over next week.
  23. Carolina has their work cut out for them today facing Brock Porter. He's dominated in A ball all year.
  24. Beloit doesn’t show velo on screen so unfortunately not. I didn’t recall the announcers saying the velo either. I think they said he threw a 92 mph changeup at one point but I’m guessing that was actually his sinker? So velo down pretty considerably if I am remembering correctly. The dreaded eye test tells me his velo was down as well.
