  1. Yeah I think Boeve, Woodward, and 7-10 (sorry for not listing names) will sign for between $1.15M and $1.5M which with the 5% overage would leave us with $4.875M to $4.525M to work with for Pratt, Bitonti, and 11-20. Hopefully we get Boeve, Woodward and 7-10 towards that lower end and can get Pratt and Bitonti for around $2M each. That would leave us $875K to play with for rounds 11-20.
  2. Is he actually 5'8 like it says on Fangraphs? Maybe a move to the OF? He seems to be pretty athletic judging by his decent SB numbers.
  3. Luke Adams to A+ at 3B. Shift Metzinger to 1B at A+. Ernesto Martinez to AA at 1B. Shift Warren to 3B. Black to AAA at 3B. Shift Dorrian/Toro to 1B.
  4. I've wanted the Brewers to do this for a while, but I just don't see it. Have Brewers ever promoted a position player straight from AA to the MLB midseason? Some teams have been doing it (Braves as an example) but it really doesn't seem like our MO.
  5. @TURBOlooks like your friend of a friend may have been correct
  6. I’m thankful you’re not the GM. You do know Ohtani is a FA in 3 months…right?
  7. Rooker has a 90 wRC+ and 35% K-rate since May 1st. He had an insane April and has not been good since. I'd be all for Noda though. He's likely incredibly expensive though considering he is 27 and isn't arb eligible until 2026
  8. Louisville has an ungodly amount of bloops and seeing eye singles today. They have 10 hits with EV under 90 mph.
  9. Though as I just posted Bellinger is WAY overperforming his peripherals. Yelich peripheral numbers look incredible. Bellinger's peripherals are below league average.
  10. I'd probably avoid Bellinger because his peripherals are just screaming regression. Coming into today he had a .376 wOBA compared to a .312 xwOBA.
  11. It was a play that should be an error, but not with the MLB's standard for OFer getting errors. Not at all surprised it was changed that quickly. Especially embarrassing after that Steer play was ruled a "single" by the Reds scorekeeper.
  12. I didn't respond anything so don't know why you are telling me this but Brewers888 could also stop posting their insane Stearns/Arnold/Mets conspiracy theory if they don't want negative comments in return.
  13. Seems like some draft picks will be signed very soon hence the transfers to 60 day IL to open up stateside minor league slots.
  14. The snarky replies are entirely because of the stupid second paragraph where Brewers888 once again brought up his insane Stearns/Arnold/Mets conspiracy theory baloney. "The longer this goes without an extension the more likely that he could leave and even follow his former boss next offseason to New York. We obviously can't compete financially with the big spenders so our only chance of maintaining success is with a front office that is at the top of the league and Arnold after cleaning up the Stearns mess of a Hader deal appears to be that guy so lock Matt Arnold up with a long term contract."
  15. The offensive environment in AAA is outrageous this season even in the International League. Here are Toro's monthly wRC+. April - 73 wRC+ May - 85 wRC+ June - 87 wRC+ July - 130 wRC+ So those OPS numbers look pretty but July is the only above average month he's had at the plate.
  16. Winker has a 133 wRC+ in July
  17. Winker and Perkins destroyed AAA pitching this year and Toro is 13% below league average and like I said his "versatility" is useless because he's not actually good at any of those spots defensively. It's like saying Hiura is versatile defensively because he can play 1B, 2B, LF...
  18. What is your obsession with Toro? He has an 87 wRC+ in AAA and while he is "versatile" defensively he is not good at any of those spots.
  19. I know Hiura hasn’t exactly been crushing it since he returned from his injury but feels like it’s time for him to get a chance with Rowdy out for a month maybe more
  20. Yeah not sure if he will be available or not, but if he is he seems like a perfect guy to target (assuming Mark is okay taking on that contract). I really dislike trading for rentals and much prefer trading for guys with 2+ years of control even though they are usually more expensive. Get Jimenez, an IF bat, and an OF bat. Maybe something like Ha-Seong Kim (if San Diego sells) and Grichuk? C: Contreras 1B: Tellez 2B: Turang 3B: Kim SS: Adames LF: Yelich CF: Wiemer RF: Grichuk DH: Jimenez Bench: Caratini, Anderson, Miller, Taylor Feel like that team is a bit to RHH heavy so maybe a LHH OF instead of Grichuk or a LHH IF instead of Kim? The problem is I have no clue who is going to sell. Feel like Colorado, Washington, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Mets, Cubs, Padres, Athletics, Royals, White Sox, Tigers should all sell but the Mets, Cubs, Padres might not want to sell.
  21. I'm all in on the Eloy Jimenez train. 3.5 years of team control counting the team options but with his injury history, I don't think he would be very expensive to acquire. Trade for him and put him at DH and in the clean up spot for the next 3.5 years. I seriously don't think we would have to trade any of our top 8 prospects to get him (Chourio, Quero, Misiorowski, Frelick, Black, Lara, Gasser, Rodriguez)
  22. Such an interesting story as well. Didn't he go to BYU and then did a multi-year mission or something? He only threw 73 innings in his college career.
