  1. Brutal game for Stiven Cruz currently at 3 IP, 10 H, 7 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO with 4 HR given up.
  2. Luke Adams just flashed a cannon arm throwing from basically the edge of the grass right on the line to get the runner at 1st.
  3. Rattlers are facing Tarik Skubal on a rehab assignment today. Very tough ask for the young guys in A+. Robert Moore struck out on 3 pitches. Wood hit a first pitch single on a grounder down the LF line. Joe Gray Jr got down 0-2 then was hit by a FB on the elbow. Alex Hall hit a FB to the track in left-center. Eduardo Garcia battled a bit but struck out in 6 pitches.
  4. I do think the hype got to be a bit much for Chourio especially after he hit A+ and the results were very good but not special. He has a lot of developing to do, but he has "generational" type tools with his combo of speed/power. 70 grade speed and 70 grade power (107 90th EV for a 19 year old at AA is absolutely absurd) just gets people excited.
  5. That explains the Brewers batting order
  6. He's a 35 year old who has had one good season in his career. Your consistency with who is good/bad continues to be horribly inconsistent. Ruf = washed/nobody wants him. Bass = good pitcher who we definitely need! It's almost embarrassing at this point.
  7. Just no. He's a complete douchebag.
  8. Ramon Moreno on DSL Brewers 2 currently 0-0 with 5 BB. Back to back days the Brewers DSL teams have a guy with 5 BB.
  9. This isn't even a hindsight thing either. Basically everybody I know who remotely follows the Brewers minor leagues hated that trade.
  10. I don't think it is that weird. Chourio, Quero, and Misiorowski are all incredible prospects with ceilings much higher than Sal Frelick.
  11. Ethan Murray just got rung up on a pitch that might have grazed the top of his ankles...what a horrendous umping crew in Mississippi tonight.
  12. With Winker it gives me more "old man yells at clouds" energy than passion energy.
  13. Misiorowski comes back out for the 6th inning for the first time this season. He walks the first batter. Second batter hit a fly out to the warning track in RF. Third batter hit what should have been a routine double play ball to 1B but Alex Hall threw the ball into LF. Should have been 6 scoreless in his first A+ start but alas it wasn't because of the error.
  14. Man Jesse Winker is such a loser. How big of a tool do have have to be to get thrown out of a minor league rehab assignment game?
  15. Sadly he couldn't keep it going in his final PA.
  16. Brewers hitters have collectively faced by far the best defense in baseball this year. Opposing teams have 25 OAA against us. Second highest is only 13 OAA. Here is the source: https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/leaderboard/outs_above_average?type=Batting_Team&startYear=2023&endYear=2023&split=yes&team=&range=year&min=q&pos=&roles=&viz=hide
  17. You should absolutely never draft by need in the MLB draft. Always draft the best player available that fits the team's signing bonus strategy.
  18. Probably no to 6-man rotation. I’m guessing Rea will get optioned because Teheran can’t. I also think if everyone else is healthy (including Woody) that Peralta will get a fake 15-day IL stint at some point to limit his innings. I could definitely see Lauer being the in the bullpen as a swing man when they want to go 6 SP for a turn through the rotation, but I doubt they go full 6 man rotation. 1. Reds (Elly De La Cruz seems like a superstar already and that club is playing with a ton of energy) 2. Cardinals (on paper they seem the biggest threat but they just don’t seem to have it this year) 3. Pirates 4. Cubs
  19. I think Teheran might survive over Rea for the sole fact that Rea has an option and Teheran does not.
  20. He might be 2nd in the NL in fWAR tomorrow. Corbin Carroll is going to run away with the award. He looks like a legit superstar, but with Wiemer's defense and baserunning, even a league average bat might get him near 4 fWAR
  21. I almost feel bad for the Orioles at this point. Burnes strike zone has been gigantic all night and Kremer has not benefitted from the same zone.
  22. My goodness Burnes is going to have a special night if the zone is this gigantic all game.
