  1. Losing the pick still sucks a bit and at the time I thought we gave up more than Priester was worth, but if Boston offered the same package back to us for Priester today, I wouldn’t take it.
  2. Yeah I was going to say the same but you beat me. Injuries will probably take care of itself. Plus it feels like it's pretty easy to manage too many pitchers with things like piggy backs.
  3. Ignore the steal of the draft thing as this is Coastal Carolina's Director of Analytics but it's an interesting thread on Morrison
  4. I think Fischer, Ebel, Morrison will all be underslot. Thompson will be somewhere near slot and I'd guess Cairone might be a little bit over slot.
  5. Missed 2024 because he had TJ surgery
  6. JD Thompson feels like a very Brewers pick after some research. Low release fastball with good ride so it has a good VAA.
  7. If Sal goes on the IL, Perkins can be recalled.
  8. Yeah I was thinking we are somewhere around $1M underslot through 2 picks with Fischer around $750K and Ebel around $250K under slot though with Ebel I really have no clue.
  9. This is cool. Brady Ebel was with the Dodgers this week and took BP at AmFam
  10. Thought Spencer thought Ebel would be overslot in the 2nd round not at 32?
  11. How far underslot do we think we will be after the first two picks?
  12. Seems like an underslot pick a la Wilken in 2023?
  13. Did Baltimore buy Irish down? He was a pretty consensus Top 10 guy based on draft boards I saw.
  14. Yes @Joseph Zarr you're fine! I misread your comment and thought you were spoiling Cunningham being picked. My apologies.
  15. Nevermind. I mixed up the name Witherspoon and Cunningham. False Alarm.
  16. Yeah it doesn't seem like anybody knows what we are going to do based on the mocks and frankly with how off the mocks have been through 8 picks, they might just have no clue with this draft.
  17. Joe Doyle is out of hand man. He's spoiling these picks way too early. Please don't spoil picks in this thread.
  18. Crazy that Hernandez is almost 4 months older than Ethan Dorchies who has 43.1 professional IP and currently is rocking a 1.66 ERA with a 32% K-rate in A ball.
  19. It's really cool when people spoil picks well before they are announced. Joe Doyle leaked the Rockies pick before the Mariners pick was announced.
  20. I've enjoyed seeing people try to guess who we will pick under the assumption nobody is going to get it right again.
  21. Yeah having Ashby yesterday would have been nice. Could have gone to him in the 5th when you went to Koenig then you wouldn't have needed basically every reliever to have an up down.
  22. His xwOBA when we traded for him was .321 so it's gone up 15 points
  23. DSL Brewers Blue just had the most DSL comeback I've ever seen. They just put up a 9 spot in the Top of the 7th (7 inning game) and this was how they did it. walk, strikeout, single, double steal, strikeout, 2-run single, walk, hbp, walk, walk, wild pitch, walk, wild pitch, walk, walk, hbp, walk, pop out 9 runs on 2 singles, 8 walks, 2 HBP
