I wonder when the Brewers will make the call to move Wande to the ACL. I'm not sure what the benefit is for him to go out and seriously struggle pretty much every outing. -

My oh my Bryan Hudson have I missed you. -
I really don't understand why in a game where you claim the priority was preserving your pen you have Zastryzny pitch the 5th inning when you know that there's a potential for a rain delay later in the game. If this game resumes after a longer rain delay then we will need our complete spent bullpen to get at least 7 outs.

4-1 night on the farm is always nice.

He was up to 95.1 but with the Brewers at the end of last season he was averaging 96.2 on his sinker.

Ashby's rehab outing didn't leave me feeling as hopeful as Hall's. Ashby still hasn't found the velo he had at the end of last season.

They really need to just start calling that thing a cutter because that's what it is at this point.

Man we are so spoiled to root for the team that drafted Jacob Misiorowski.

Well looks like Civale and Rodriguez are both getting called up for tomorrow as Misiorowski is now listed as the start for game 2 tonight not Civale.

Fastball shape faded a bit the last two innings for DL but overall a really positive outing. He looks so much better than he did last year.

Yeah definitely is throwing a cutter. Has thrown in 2 more times in his 2nd inning.

That's where getting Ashby and Hall back is going to be so huge. Those are guys who are capable of going multiple innings and pitching leverage. So instead of using 2 leverage guys in the 6th and 7th we could use one of Ashby/Hall.

Man DL Hall is looking nasty through 2 hitters.

Made even more annoying because it was 3 innings into giving him his first start at 3B which many of us were clamoring for.

Ernesto is still fighting to find that place he was at to start the season since returning from the thumb injury.

Watching Woodruff today is just making me sad. Sitting 90-92 with his fastballs...tough to watch.

Henderson walked on his first PA when Patrick just lost feel and threw 4 pretty non-competitive pitches out of 5 and in his second PA hit a soft bloop liner to CF that had an 80% catch probability that Chourio didn't catch. Patrick would have survived facing him a 3rd time.
