  1. Let's hope Turang hitting 3rd against a LHP doesn't come back to hurt us here
  2. That's pitiful from the ump. Needs to be way better.
  3. Misiorowski needs to get his FB up. Leaving them all down today.
  4. Riley plays very deep and towards the line. Tough to beat him down the line
  5. I do not remotely understand why Turang is still hitting in the top third of the order against LHP
  6. I haven't been watching much of Biloxi mostly becuase I think the production quality in the Southern League is pretty horrible compared to the rest of MiLB. I have the game on today and it's nearly unwatchable with how poorly synced the camera angles and audio are. I know the Brewers don't own the Shuckers like they do Wilson but I wish they would do something to get the production quality at a suitable level.
  7. Starting every game against a LHP is maybe 1-2 starts on a normal week. Brewers this week are facing 4 LHP in a span of 6 games so yes it will be more this week. Through the first 18 days of June it was 16 games and 18 PA. That's nowhere near enough playing time to call up a prospect and no taking playing time away from Chourio and Mitchell is not a solution to get Lara more playing time because that just hurts the Brewers.
  8. He had some bad luck in that stretch as well. Since he was recalled on 5/9 he has a .280 wOBA compared to a .330 xwOBA.
  9. Perkins has 36 PA since he was recalled for Lockridge on 5/9. In June he has 18 PA. He is hardly playing.
  10. Over the last two postseasons Perkins is one of 4 Brewers players to have a wRC+ over 100. It's genuinely insane how much abuse a 4th/5th OF gets from fans
  11. 91 wRC+ against LHP is fine for a glove first weak side platoon guy. He's been playing great this month as well with a 205 wRC+ and .389 xwOBA. You'd think him going 2-3 with a 2B and HR off Sanchez last week would get some people off his back for a bit but I guess not.
  12. Perkins had the 6th best wRC+ on the Brewers in the postseason last year btw
  13. Perkins has a 91 wRC+ against LHP this year. I really don't understand why fans complain about him being in the lineup against a LHP. You're telling me you'd rather have Frelick and his 21 wRC+ against LHP in the lineup today?
  14. Not a fan of Vaughn hitting 6th and no Sanchez in the lineup against a LHP
  15. If Wisconsin is too small for AAA then so is Biloxi. It's capacity is only like 200 people bigger than Wisconsin.
  16. I don't really like how the Brewers have handled the challenge system but according to the team summary leaderboard on savant the Brewers are 5th in runs gained vs expected from challenging so their plan at least seems to be working.
  17. I think you’re viewing far too short term with these high school pitchers. It’s a long road going from HS pitcher to MLB pitcher especially if you aren’t a huge bonus top of the first round guy. Tyson Hardin who is one of our best pitching prospects didn’t throw a pitch in college until he was 21 and in that year he had a 12.81 ERA. It just takes time. You need to be extremely patient.
  18. Regression was always coming. He was way overperforming his underlying numbers and still is.
  19. Their full season numbers don’t mean much to me. They look a lot better since the team got healthy from an underlying offensive perspective.
  20. Yeah both those AB they showed bunt on the most hittable pitch they saw the whole AB. I really don't have an issue with trying to bunt for a hit but if you're doing it you need to be fully committed to it. No half measures.
  21. I love the idea that Priester won't be able to rehab his injury if there's a lockout. Of course it would have to be away from the team but he will be doing the exact same things regardless of there being or not being a lockout.
  22. It's unfortunate that Turang tried to bunt the worst splitter he threw today.
  23. Series win. Feel like it should have been a sweep but the pitching injuries caught up to the Brewers today.
  24. Yeli just looked completely overmatched there. Tough to see.
  25. He put a good swing on it but that swing on pitch 4 was the one that hurt the most. That 3-2 pitch was too close with no challenges to take I think. Just way too far inside to reasonably get that ball in fair territory
