    Right now it is looking like a pretty deep group. We all know how quickly that changes.

    Miley maybe but gonna be a prove it contract. Just thinking how we always seem to go thru a bunch of starters. Yet we seem to have quite a few ready to go next year. Montas or Civale options picked up?

    I think the Brewers model has changed. Last years draft I hope is going to be more like this years draft. Lord knows we need some power.

    Find the pitchers you like and get them in the Brewer system.

    Brewers will use Williams in the closers role so they can increase his trade value.

    It’s a legitimate argument that we will compete for the division title with our team as it is right now. But we’ve proven we are not winning the WS with this group. That’s why many advocate, including me, trading and regrouping around the next core.

    Someone help me with this. In the last few years how many Brewer international signees with a bonus below $50000 have turned out to be highly rated prospects? I believe there are some but just cant think of any.

    With the Bally Sports problems I am starting to believe that this article is what is going to happen. Maybe sign a 1B fillin but nothing beyond that. If we are in it at the deadline go get someone to help but otherwise get the kids some experience and keep the payroll low.

    So with most of these settled and the Brewer payroll under $100 million who do we sign. With under $50 million on the books for next year backload the contract and sign a difference maker.

    I’m with Alwz. We are not going to win the WS this year. Compete for the division. Maybe? Retool/rebuild and reload.
