    Again I get all the answers and they are fair points. Maybe Crochet wouldn’t be enough but it feels like we are afraid of another Grienke so we say just to high of a cost and do not stick our neck out. Yelich, great trade. Felt like we were aggressive. Adames trade not as big of a trade and he had questions about his hitting. Turned out in our favor. Contreras, we took advantage of the A’s. If those trades were all in a short time period you would be excited about the prospects. The 1980 trade, Fingers Vokovich Simmons. That set us up to go to the World Series. That was a bold move. I’m old. I want to see another World Series. I guess my patience is as short as my life expectancy.

    Pretty much a non event for the Brewers. A lot of blabber and nothing done.

    We did the Brewers version of “going for it” last year. Sanchez, Junis and Hoskins. Now we are paying the price. Sad off-season coming indeed.

    It sounds like, eventually, the Brewers would get more money. Does it mean the big market teams would get less?

    With the tv contract in limbo I think Black gets a long look at 3B. Rookie salary for him will help the team payroll immensely

    Right now it is looking like a pretty deep group. We all know how quickly that changes.

    Miley maybe but gonna be a prove it contract. Just thinking how we always seem to go thru a bunch of starters. Yet we seem to have quite a few ready to go next year. Montas or Civale options picked up?

    So who do we see as the top 7 or 8 for next years rotation? Seems like lots of our guys pitching themselves into the conversation.
