    1) Rhys and Civale for Baty and a lotto should be accepted by Mets and I’d prefer that. 2) I’d do that in a heartbeat. 3) I’d try for whisenhunt and wade for Devin and a lesser piece

    Two things here: 1) I think it’s reasonable to think Pratt could be ready in 2026 instead of 2027. 2) I’m wondering if people here would rather have two years of Boehm or four years of Stott if they can be had for the same exact potential Devin deal?

    Haase is locked in as our second catcher. We kept three catchers for this precise reason so as not to lose him. He is under our control so will return as the main backup to Wild Bill.

    If we can get Stott for Devin straight up, that’d be my preference. We get 4+ years of 2+ War play seems quite good to me.

    If we didn’t have two better defensive shortstops with plenty good of a bat, I’d say push it a bit for Willy. In the yuni years, sure. Take the pick now though.

    Lowe isn’t good enough for a straight up Williams Lowe trade even with the extra year control. Williams for Boehm works though. Baty for something like CRod might be doable too.

    Once we placed him on waivers, could we have pulled him back and payed him the 5.5 million? If so, I’d have have Rea at 5.5 than no Rea and still paying him a million.

    If anybody deserves less in the arby years, I mean anybody ever ever ever, it is Williams for the hotel punch when it mattered and also the blowing of the clincher vs the Mets. This is not the same as Burnes in my mind.

    Well I reckon we look at the wars of Moncada and Polanco and find an improvement over what the brewer bass or the know-it-all posters here have for an idea.

    Do we have room for both Moncada AND Polanco? I don’t think signing both would break the bank by any means, and with the versatility of Turang and Ortiz, I’d love to sign both and move on from Montasario. Play the hottest three bats amongst Turang, Ortiz, Moncada, and Polanco at the non 1b infield positions with the remaining player available to pinch hit. This seems like a shrewd hedge to me to sign both players and likely we’d be able to have a good offense at the infield with these two signings. Thoughts?

    I would do my Simien type idea for McMahon. That is McMahon and his whole contract for Hoby Milner, Bryce Wilson, and Jake Bauers. Bauers could do really well in Coors and Milner and Wilson may actually pitch well there too. We save a bit of salary moving the three of them and opens up a bit of PT for Tyler Black to try grab as well.

    Williams Patrick and Mears for Mayer would be my proposal.
