  1. Yeah... I'm sorry... I meant 30 cents... it was never down to 3 cents... Having said that, I am pretty happy with the small earnings. And this advice seems to be pretty consistent with what others have told me... I'm just excited to see if it gets up to $4. I think I'd sell it in an instant at that point...
  2. I don't know if we can make this an unofficial/official thread, but it may be helpful... I'm fairly new to the stock market. Tinkering here and there. And am still a true novice as to how much of it works. But here's a current situation. I bought about 300 shares of a stock when it was at varying price ranges from .030 up to $1. That stock is now over $3. They recently reorganized its leadership and it seems to be working. Having said that, it's a retail outlet that you still hear rumblings of potential bankruptcy, etc. With a retail stock like this, how do you judge when to get out? It's tempting to sell now and take my bit of earnings I've made. But within the last two years it was as high as $25. Last year it was at about $10. How dod I accurately judge when to bail? I don't want to get out too soon...
  3. That's just great. Braun is the leader of this team, unquestionably. I've listened to the clip five times now. Fantastic.
  4. RKFG: You're an idiot. It's all good.... yourself.
  5. It's actually pretty clear... A: the fake lawyer chick told Hodges "you were never supposed to use the bioweapon for personal purposes - like strapping it to missiles). B: To that end, Tony blew up the missiles (because that's not what the bioweapon was for). C: Tony and fake lawyer lady kiss in the preview, so they are connected, as are their ambitions... edit for clarity: Tony was only working to prevent Starkwood from using it how they wanted to (which included the diversion of the attack on the White House), vs. how the voodoo, unknown element wants to use it.
  6. SPOILERS I was still holding out hope until he let Jack sit there, writhing on the ground in desperate need of the shot... And even then, I still thought there was maybe a glimmer, some way... until in the preview for next week you saw Tony kiss the woman who gave Hodges the magic heart attack pill. Ah well, Tony went to the dark side. And, I must admit - I have been a fan of Will Patton for years and have always thought he was underused in Hollywood - glad to see him jumping on for what I imagine will be the rest of the season...
  7. I've posted this before, but it's timely because it just won one of the "Founder's Choice" awards at the Wildwood Film Festival in Appleton - a film festival that focuses solely on films with Wisconsin connections. We're pretty happy about that.
  8. Realized last night that Gary Sheffield is the last active link to any Brewers team with the trio of Yount, Molitor and Gantner... and it actually made me a little sentimental about Gary Sheffield.
  9. What a crappy, crappy thing to do.
  10. SPOILER: I'm still not convinced Tony is bad... "Kill one to save many" has been a constant theme on this show over the years... he may be carrying out an endgame that hasn't been made clear to us yet. The operative who stole the canister, as he was driving away, he had fear in his eyes (not something you usually see from the bad guy - 24s baddies usually have determination), Tony had some serious remorse on his face while killing Moss. Anxious to see what the bigger picture is. This is hands down the best season in a long time.
  11. Am I imagining that? Did Prince look at three straight strikes with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th?
  12. Who here is the tax expert? I have a question, but I don't want to plaster it all over the message board. PM me, if you have a moment.
  13. Soup and his old school grittiness love the rain. Is this how we are characterizing Suppan this year? Can we call him Dirty Jeff Suppan? Maybe portraying him as a gritty, tough, mean veteran will make it so...
  14. The Happy Youngster is on the front page of Break.com
  15. I think I'm probably rehashing the argument, but like PF says, 99 percent of us don't have a problem with him being pulled over. We don't even have a problem with him pulling the gun when he sees people pouring out of the car... it's every single decision he makes after that that sealed his fate. Having said that, and as sickened as I was after watching the video, I will say that it's nice to see the accountability this guy is taking for it. He's not indignantly trying to fight it - he knows he screwed up and he's taking the right steps.
  16. Yup, they've done really well this season... best season in years...
  17. I haven't been that angry for someone else in a long time. I can't even imagine being in Moats' shoes. I'd probably have told the guy fine, have my car towed, I'm going in. The saddest thing is that the father-in-law felt (and probably rightfully so) the need to stay behind and make sure Moats was safe instead of seeing his dying daughter. Disgraceful. And other things I can't type here....
  18. The silent countdown is key - it's why so many of us theorized Tony Almeida wasn't dead. Pretty big clue. Last night's episode was pretty slick. This show has gotten better than the last two seasons or so. Taking it out of L.A. was wise.
  19. I find myself in Scottsdale on business and a fairly lose schedule on Thursday - where do I go to find out what the schedule holds for Thursday?
  20. I understand the time concerns, but if I have time concerns I just make something inside. For my humble being, the taste is so much better with charcoal. If I'm going to spend the time playing with the fire, I'm doing charcoal. Light it, go back inside, come out when it's ready.
  21. A gas grill does not = grilling. It's an outdoor stove top. Weber. Charcoal. End of discussion.
