    It is a little dangerous. There was a player earlier(don't recall who) but the OL came in and just BLASTED his own guy.

    Pick up a couple 1sts... but I feel like we're going to see a couple inside zone and then a 3rd and 4. Huge possession. Suck the air out of the Bears, OR... the momentum will just completely swing.

    I thought he did also. Amazing how defeated we are in the comments though! Williams came out and made a couple INCREDIBLE plays... they scored. It's almost like this is a game for 1st place and the division at stake.

    They had some short routes....and I can't believe Williams squeezed that one in there.

    That's a play VERY few QBs in this league can make. That was... a pretty special play. Lets hope he continues to be indecisive and makes poor decisions because if Williams cleans that part of the game up? -I'm also fully expecting Caleb to pull one out here and run a naked boot.

    They need to come out and score to start the half... OTHERWISE... the Bears can stay in their game plan and they're still right in this game. Good teams, SUPER BOWL teams... they put you away here and make you play their game. Throwing the ball with this pass rush and #1 coming after Williams. I haven't seen that... final element this year.

    It IS kinda wild, his worst throws are targeting Golden...through seemingly no ault of Golden(though, you never really know).

    Neither of whom can take Caleb down in the open field. Gary has been really good in contain, but you have to do something to stop these boots(like... flipping Parsons and Gary).

    Gonna have to put Parsons on Williams right side. Gary's athletic for a big guy. Parsons is athletic for a... DB. Not quite going how I'd like to see this drive go, but they're making the Bear earn every inch(well...save for the really stupid penalties).

    This defense plays with more energy than any I can remember. Cooper and the Bears back with a BIG collision, but you still had 7 guys rallying. Nixon with a stupid play though.

    Watching these TEs after the catch it makes you realize just how unique Kraft and a COUPLE others are. Also, WATSON is a stud. Just reliable hands catcher in big spots. He's becoming more than I hoped for. That's big.

    He's getting to the 2nd level. I'm just not sure he's got that next gear. But he's patient and he's durable.

    That's exactly it. That's a 50/50 call that is supposed to 100% whatever the call on the field was. And the ball can hit the ground. I think they got the Bears challenge right. I don't think that was a catch(which is good for the Bears as it was a CLEAR recovery if it was). Oh well, things will go against you. D has to bow up now.

    The ball was pinned against his body. If the call was incomplete, fine, but there was nothing in the replay that was at ALL definitive.

    No Nazir Stackhouse in this game. That's... a bit surprising, but Redd, Golden and Bullard are all active(would have been surprised if Bullard or Reed wasn't). I agree with what you're saying, but.. we also lost to the Panthers... and they're somehow in contention for the division, so I think we SHOULD win, but the pace of the game will definitely determine it. Just have to stay aggressive on offense and we can't allow long drives on defense. The long drives at least mean they're not really gashing us, but... they just limit the possessions.

    Maybe... but their defense is worse against the run than their offense is good vs it. I really want to see how Parsons does in this type of weather. He's played in a dome for most of his big games and last week was Detroit. Late in the year in GB at Chicago... Hopefully he can put Trapillo on skates.

    I think it's safe to say that Gute struck out on both off-season signings. I MIGHT give Banks another year as he's played better since this. Hobbs, I don't see any reason to give him more time. We're REALLY gonna need to hope Morgan is the guy at LT. I would imagine we go OL/CB heavy. I can't imagine these corners if not for the front 7. Assuming we cut Jenkins and the cap goes up as expected, we're ~50M under... but that money is gonna be eaten up even if the Cap keeps jumping 10% a year. Belton has been playing well... and Sean Rhyan has played far better at Center than I thought when Jenkins went down. Not a whole lot available on the FA market(Asante Samuel Jr would have been nice). Tyler LInderbaum would be... REALLY aggressive and maxing out this 2-3 year window.

    Brinson has been REALLY good for a guy you expected to sit and learn all year. You lost Clark and Wyatt and he's been a good pass rusher. Primarily in setting up Parsons with his stunts, but... just really good getting after the QB and struggles losing his gap at times, but when he plays run 1st, he can be stout. I would not consider Brinson a NT(or the 4-3 equivalent 1 tech like Stackhouse or Slaton was). He's versatile and can do both. Hopefully, he'll keep building off the late season opportunities... He has a chance to be a big hit as a 6th. Riley and Bohanna both have a chance to put good snaps on tape. Doesn't matter how long they'll be here, but the Packers defense is so good in pursuit, they just need to play their gap and not get moved off it. They don't need to penetrate and get into the backfield, just give us a few snaps where you don't get washed out and give the Bears a cutback lane.

    This is just routine off-season banter. Yes, there are questions about Collins ability to be a starting LFer. We also have alternative answers in the event that he's not. We'll likely start with Chourio, Mitchell, Frelick and then Collins, Perkins and Bauers as backups. AAA I would think Luke Adams would get games in LF(maybe RF as he's got a very good arm). He's probably a future 1B, but... likely not 3B with the players we have coming up. Tyler Black... I know how quickly we like to give up on players, but if something should happen to Bauers, Black doesn't replace him perfectly, but he brings exceptional plate discipline and athleticism to the team. Lara is an elite Glove in CF who can steal bases and doesn't strike out. He also walks at a healthy rate. Brandon Lockridge... not at all a fan, but I like to be proven wrong in those types of scenarios. Collins was good last year. He got fewer chances down the stretch in deference of Bauers who... as you pointed out, was hot and as the Brewers went for more defense with a healthy Perkins. Any questions about Collins really have to be asked about Durbin. He does not have great bat speed, but he's also a grinder. I have faith in both of them holding their positions until younger more dynamic prospects come along.
