Maybe he needs to stay in that mindset. Hopefully, tonight was a turnaround moment for him, though I'm not holding my breath. -
FWIW, our family over the past couple years has tried Sling, PSVue, and now YoutubeTV. I find YoutubeTV to have the best interface and most reliability. I actually liked the Sling lineup slightly better, but I was getting various glitches, like the picture cutting out frequently. I have had basically zero problems with YoutubeTV. I just wish they would add Comedy Central and AXS. At any rate, I will never be going back to Charter/Spectrum (aside from their internet service).

Wasn't expecting this, but seems like a good move for all involved. Miller is potentially another solid Stearns pickup.
-
A little off topic, but Trenni was the "sideline" reporter for last month's Boston Marathon was able to induce an epic interview with the women's winner (who was on the verge of hypothermia) that had my running friends talking for days. BTW, does anyone here remember Bob Brainard? Yes, I sure do remember Brainerd. He got canned when the FS-Wisconsin producers decided they wanted to take the game broadcasts in a more serious direction, supposedly.

Braun had one to drive, and instead weakly hits into a double play.
-
Bad pitch location there. Looked like it was right in Marte's wheelhouse.
-
Thanks for the free run , Pirates.
-
Put me officially into the anti Sogard camp. They can DFA him any day now.
-
I guess he read your post!
-
Braun is hitting his stride, and Aguilar keeps making magic happen at opportune times. This is a fun team to watch.
-
He seemed like a really nice guy. Very sad news today. RIP Davey.
-
Wow, what a fighter. Jesus Aguilar has won my heart with that at-bat.
-
The Brewers should send the Marlins a thank you card for their defensive play, after this series is over.
-
Cain is still good defensively, but not exactly elite at this point.
-
I don't hate the actual dog, I hate the mascot version of the same dog.
-
Well, don't write them off yet. Right field error leads to a two run Braun bomb.
-
I wish him well, but yeah, he's looking fairly washed up. Hope he catches on with another team eventually.
-
Uh, Brewers, it's OK to play some defense here.
-
Take that, Cardinals! Wow, what a win!

I remember there was a special about the Montreal Expos some time ago (might have been a "30 for 30" on ESPN, but I can't recall for sure). Anyway, the fans there still remembered Staub and were very effusive about him. Seems like he was a great player, both on and off the field.

Brewers made 1 year offer to Cobb
Invader3K replied to Ulice Payne's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I've felt for a while the most likely way the Brewers upgrade the starting rotation is through a trade, and not a free agent signing. While I would not have minded if they signed Cobb, I am not going to get stressed over them not getting him. -
Arrieta to Phillies - 3 year deal, $75 million
Invader3K replied to homer's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I'm personally glad the Phillies signed him, and not the Brewers...especially for $25 million per year. He is simply not worth that price tag to us. -
I live in Southeast Wisconsin and can see every Brewers game that I would be able to with my local cable provider (ie. every FS-Wisconsin Brewers broadcast).

Brewers to sign 25 year agreement with Maryvale
Invader3K replied to Invader3K's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
The new renderings definitely make it look like it will be a significant upgrade over what's there now. -
Officially got my Opening Day tickets this morning. Just thought it would be fun to start a thread for Opening Day...against the Cardinals this year!
