  1. Great post, I agree 100%. With just coming back you have to see where he is first. He definitely will be a little rusty. Baby steps after an injury is the norm.
  2. A good problem to have IMHO.
  3. We have to wait and see, setup man, closer, because Megill/Williams Combo. Is way better than using Payamps or Peguero as the setup man for Megill as we do it now.
  4. With Yelich's past back problems he might consider it after today's flub, plus his arm is way below MLB outfield average. But I have to say the Dodgers are about the strongest team in the MLB and we at least hung with them.
  5. Only Boston and Oakland have gotten screwed more than the Brewers so far this year. That is just the MLB's small market bias.
  6. An irrational hate for him is not true. He had a 41.7% strike out rate, Joey Wiemer wasn't even that bad and Joey Weimer was bad. Standup guy I agree with, he was a great humble guy that never caused problems at all. He just simply couldn't hit. Sadly, being a "good egg" isn't going to drive in runs.
  7. He did ok in my opinion because the Dodgers are probably the best team in baseball. Number 1. 1) Dodgers (previously: 2). Ten days in, and Mookie Betts leads baseball in essentially every major statistical category: Hits, runs, home runs … even walks. It’s that last one that’s particularly impressive, all told, considering the guy who is hitting behind him in that lineup: It’s not like there’s any particular advantage to pitching around Betts. Speaking of Shohei Ohtani, he’s “only” putting up a .944 OPS, which would have been top 25 in baseball last year but currently puts him only third on his own team.
  8. 3 Bucks rumored to be on the trade block could create roster-building opportunities for 2024–25. Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez and Pat Connaughton could Hit the Trade Block soon.
  9. Peguerro gave up 5 runs in the last 7 innings he pitched.
  10. He hasn't been himself the past few months that's for sure.
  11. I agree big markets usually get the calls.
  12. Peguaro lost the game for us IMHO.
  13. I agree 100% it was a solid start against one of the top teams in baseball.
  14. That is because to many people want it to be 12-0 win every game.
  15. You guys griped every inning to pull Civale well.... You got your wish.
  16. Civale did pretty good and left with the lead. He gave up too many HR's but Murphy was smart. He let Freddy Peralta stay in Milw. and not go to Colorado.
  17. He will probably throw a 3 hitter against the Cubs.
  18. Well Civale is done for the night with a lead.
  19. I don't think Payamps is a better option though.
  20. Yelich would have caught that one IMHO.
