  1. Physical burnout symptoms are not the same to being lazy, even though it may look that way.
  2. Rest can solve a lot of problems. Brewers have played 114 games and Adamas has played in 114 games. This seems like a no brainer to me, he needs rest, especially after Atlanta's mid 90 temps the past series. I know Adamas never wants to take off but if I was Murphy I would force him to, make it a mandatory rest day or two for Adamas.

  4. Yes ... Rest for Adamas plus I see it is 93 degrees there now.
  5. Braves are saying ***, who is this team.
  6. Who said Mitchell was to be the best player on the team? Key word: TEAM = 9 starters plus the rest on the bench.
  7. My point was about 5 weeks ago to give him some time because early July was like Mitchell's spring training.
  8. Mitchell batting .297 now and at the trade deadline many wanted him gone.
  9. It is to get up to 94 in another hour or so plus a Thursday.
  10. I would love to see them hit like that on the west coast also.
  11. Wow, seeing eye ball for another RBI.
  12. I sure haven't had much faith in Aaron Ashby the past couple years, An exceptional outing for him would be 3 innings with 2 runs allowed or back on the injured list. Personally I think he is shot or we could trade him for a prospect.
  13. It never crossed my mind that it was showing someone up when it is a 88 degree humid evening in Atlanta.
  14. Just like the polo grounds where foul territory had almost as many sq. ft. as fare territory. https://www.ballparksofbaseball.com/ballparks/polo-grounds/
  15. Hitting .349 in the last 15 games looks good to me, his problem has always been staying healthy.
  16. Austin Riley signed a 10 year , $212,000,000 contract with the Atlanta Braves, including $212,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $21,200,000. In 2024, Riley will earn a base salary of $21,000,000, while carrying a total salary of $21,000,000.
  17. Haase is a good hitter also, I agree Contreras needs to recharge his batteries for the playoffs. Black also could split time with Hoskins at 1st.
  18. The Braves remain atop the NL Wild Card standings, and they entered Sunday still just five games behind the first-place Phillies in the division standings. But they split a four-game set with the Marlins, who came to Atlanta having lost 15 of their past 25 games. I hope we catch them at the right time. I also think Collen Rea got an extra days rest for this one, I hope he is on tonight.
  19. I agree, but the Cards have been known in the past to put together several 10 game win streaks at the end of the season. In 2021 they had a 17 game win streak. So they still worry me just because of the history.
