    Hawk-Eye camera technology to call strikes in baseball, has been used in minor leagues since 2019. The ABS calls strikes based on where the ball crosses the midpoint of the plate, which is 8.5 inches from the front and back. The system also generates a strike zone, which is 53.5% of batter height.

    I think right now, Black and Monasterio are definitely the 2 worst hitters on the team. But I don't know all the exact rules pertaining to being sent down and coming back up again. But Black does seem to be improving a little bit as of late.

    I'm just saying, I don't believe he hurt his back with stress fractures on both sides pitching. What on earth was he doing to injure both sides of his back? Sorry, I just don't believe it. Something else had to have happened. Back specialist Dr. Robert Watkins diagnosed Williams with stress fractures on the left and right sides of his T12 vertebra, sources said. Sorry I don't believe the story at all.

    Yup, but the was a different issue with Devin's hand. I still don't believe the story about the multiple stress fractures in his back the Brewers gave for Devin. Originally Williams had been diagnosed with a pair of stress fractures in his back. He is not expected to require surgery, but will not be allowed to throw for 6 weeks, but that was over 3 months ago now. If it smells like BS and looks like BS more than likely it is BS. The Brewers are covering for him, it's called politics. Everyone is just to hush hush and vague about everything with Devin. Dennis Krause: The bullpen has performed very well while they wait for Devin Williams to return from his injury. Trevor Megill has stepped in seamlessly to that closer's role. Jerry Augustine: "He's done a great job and I think it's going to pay off dividends for him when Devin does come back. Devin Williams in the ninth inning is very important. That eighth inning setup guy is really important, too. They have Payamps, but I think Megill has really stepped in and really done a nice job." Dr. Watkins saw potential stress fractures, and further imaging Wednesday confirmed pars fractures -- which can come from repetitive stress -- on both sides of Williams' back, sources said.

    Peralta is due for a good performance tonight after allowing 12 runs in his last 3 outings. Brewers are 1 1/2 run favorites.

    Brewers starter Tobias Myers took a shutout to the seventh inning and threw every pitch with a lead. Now we have to get Peralta to follow suit today.
