  1. I've been having this problem since a very windy night back at the end of January. It's been better as of late, but it might be something with the cable wiring coming into your house. If there is any decrease in picture quality that is probably it. I have a TWC tech coming later this week, I'll post back after that.
  2. Yeah I could see that... I was wondering where in the Terrace level they were in (corners, Bernie's terrace, etc). I'd imagine they'd have a section or couple of sections.
  3. Here's the info for Leff's- http://www.leffs.com/leffs/openingday2008.html A couple questions for those who have been there... 1) Where are their seats usually? 2) How strict are they on carding people? A couple of my friends aren't yet 21. Thanks.
  4. When I bought my nine pack in January our ticket rep told us about the increase, which is not the Brewers call, the Parking service raised the rates. For $100 over opening day and 9 weekend games, buying that pass was a great deal.
  5. Took his Civil Liberties class as a Junior, by far the toughest class I took at MU. He was very demanding, but fair. Definitely a Catholic Conservative. Brilliant mind though, one of the most intelligent people I have ever met.
  6. This is supposed to be a day of celebration for everyone, the greatest record in sports broken. Instead, the SF area is the only place celebrating. Personally, I knew it was coming but actually seeing him break that record makes me sick. Kudos to Hank for his response.
  7. Loves me some smallball. Your Milwaukee Brewers: Manufacturing runs, every ten games.
  8. Not having the Gameday up is driving me nuts. Edit: ESPN has theirs up and running beautifully. Whew.
  9. Two vents- 1) Umpires that don't ask for help. 2) Uecker starting a homerun call on a flyout. Not game specific or anything, I'm just sayin'...
  10. I'm writing my last collegiate paper ever. It's a war of attrition at this point.
  11. Well, we're only a 1/2 game out of the Wild Card http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  12. I can't wait to hear Ned justify pitching to Pujols. This trip is turning into a nightmare in a hurry.
  13. I'm not mad about Ned, not mad about Balfour. I expected a loss with the pen short. You don't burn out Cordero when it's tied on the road. So your options there are Spurling and Balfour. Pick your AAAA poison. Spurling would have probably blown it too, but with a HR instead. Estrada jogging out that DP ball drives me up the wall though. Either its him being inattentive or flat out lazy. Both are completely unacceptable in that situation. I think Grant is gone when Billy comes back. Having 13 pitchers is useless when one can't get an out.
  14. Put me in... thanks Pedro!
  15. Until now, I had severe doubts about Ned but thought that a change might be too rash of a move. Seeing the top of our lineup tonight, I'm starting to think a move might be necessary. There's no reason to juggle the lineup as much as he has.
  16. Great game by Verlander, but what a terrible lineup. I'm starting to think Yost is in way over his head.
  17. Billy makes a nice Jim Edmonds-esque catch in center... bad angle, great catch. Capellan not pitching too bad either. I'll try my hands at the jinx... NO HITTER NO HITTER NO HITTER!
  18. I can't help but think this is the one that really brings a meltdown just like the Cubs series before the break last year. I want to be optimistic, but seeing 20 years of mainly losing baseball has killed any hope. Same old Brewers.
  19. And this is why I am kicking myself for even thinking about the playoffs. Wheels are coming off... .500 here we come.
  20. Hamels is filthy and will have Weeks, JJ, and Billy waving at a lot of changeups low and away. It's gonna take something special from Soup tonight to stop this thing.
  21. My first thought tonight "here we go again." This feels like a sweep, like the ones that went before at PNC. I hope to God I'm wrong, but I can't help but think this will start a slide.
  22. Something dawned on me while listening to the game... TMJ's new voice over guy cannot say MILwaukee. During every station ID break I heard "620 WTMJ.... MAWAUKEE" Drives me nuts.
  23. Speaking of torture to watch... this is the first time I've watched Ann Carroll closely (thanks to this board) and she is brutal. Within five minutes of the postgame show starting, Carlaudio Vargas was signed by the Brewers...
  24. I love this team. These guys never, never quit. As much as I have railed on him, Yost did a great job managing tonight. I want to know what he said to Villanueva after the 4 pitch walk, but he was a different pitcher after that. Talk about some major huevos though, Villanueva made some great pitches in tough situations, against guys who have worn out Brewer pitching before. Good team effort, though. Hardy with a homer and stellar defense, TG2 with an RBI, Counsell, Jenks, the pen, and of course Prince. I really, really like what's brewin.
