  1. I like the idea of the going for the Josh Smith type player of the Rangers. Now is the time to spend some of our resources including someone like Sal Frelick I love Frelick but he just doesn't hit enough to play regularly in right field. His trade value is probably at its highest. Just a thought
  2. Two thumbs down. Waste of money and waste of Weimer as trade bait. Extremely underwhelming!
  3. Great article, great play. Loved the 628 hits vs 13 outs. Puts it in perspective.
  4. Really like the start and REALLY like the fresh air that Pat Murphy is bringing into the room. Looks like he is a great fit as their manager. Seems to relate well to varying kinds of personalities.
  5. Loved the return of baseball. Thought it was super funny when Hoskins sent out the the cry baby gesture. Glad no one was hurt but the word dramatic fit the moment related to McNeil's reaction. He just over reacted. :)
  6. Really enjoying the energy of Pat Murphy. He seems so comfortable in the role and who he is as a human. This has been a breath of fresh air with his leadership just beginning to blossom. Good things on the horizon with him in the helm.
  7. The perspective regarding our minor league system has really changed in the last couple of years. Hats off to Matt Arnold and the scouting crew!
  8. Wouldn't be surprised to see Haase traded in the next week. Catchers are usually a hot commodity. Package him and Bauers. They are both residing in Limboville.
  9. No hares on the team just tortoises... that's not a bad thing. Just need to be patient as they move along. Looking forward to the many surprises this team and season brings.
  10. Likeable player. Potential, potential, potential.... really hoping it is more than just potential. Hope he proves it this season. I'm in his corner.
  11. The comparisons to Acuna are encouraging. Wonder if he starts the year in the big leagues or comes up in June?
  12. Great article Jake! Such good news especially for the 2025 season. Fans and teammates all appreciate. Brandon is just a good Brewer dude!
  13. Thanks for the article. As always lots of ifs when you are trying to project players. That's the beauty and the frustration of the game. Opportunities await as we wait to see who ascends. Competition and unwritten stories await. The story is yet to be told.
  14. Not feeling or seeing Bauer's place on this roster. I think Joey Weimer and Brice Turang will both play their way on this roster. I also don't see the need for another catcher besides Contreras and Sanchez. Bottom line is no Bauer and no third catcher opening the door for Weimer/Turang. Gasser may very well be in the starting rotation and Hall may very well be in the bullpen.
  15. I think it is time to trade him and I think he knows it too. The return on him will never be better. Washington, Oakland, Kansas City and Miami had the worst bullpens related to ERA last year. All of them were 5 or greater ERA. Maybe we could brew something up with them?
