  1. Good Point wibadger23... it may be that Yelich himself is not interested in such a move.
  2. Just not seeing the value of Hoskons for an 18 million dollar contract. Really 25ish million because of the payoff to get out of the contract next year. i would surely love to see Yelich at first base some day.
  3. "To sign (for instance) Josh Bell or J.D. Martinez today would probably cost more than the Brewers care to pay, but a month from now, that could change. Being persistently opportunistic is the name of the game for small-market teams, and the Brewers are good at that game." I appreciate this kind of forward thinking. It is a classic small market Brewer move which is very wise and often fruitful.
  4. What about the 20 yr old reliever who now would be in his second full year post ACL surgery Dikember Sanchez ? He played with Carolina last year. This could be one of those lightning in the bottle kind of Brewer moves.
  5. That would so awesome if they could trade him... trade him and even pay part of his salary.
  6. Call me crazy but I just don't see Caleb as a started in a Brewer infield which needs more power and pop since Adames left. He will be a fun and spicy utility player.
  7. You rock n roll writer dude! I appreciate the glass being half full. Maybe next year Caleb will be a full 16 oz pour as a Brewer player. Looking forward to the baseball hunger of a rising player being displayed which you referenced.
  8. I'll take a more wait and see....show me attitude r/t to Caleb. The article was a bit over the top on optimism. Let's see what reality presents next year.
  9. I really like that they got a solid number 3/4 starting pitcher. However we really, really , really need to upgrade third base. I see Ortiz as the shortstop and Turang staying at second but gosh darn we need some power and pop at the hot corner.
  10. Welcome to the World of Brewer fanaticism. Enjoy the ride!

  11. I like the idea of the going for the Josh Smith type player of the Rangers. Now is the time to spend some of our resources including someone like Sal Frelick I love Frelick but he just doesn't hit enough to play regularly in right field. His trade value is probably at its highest. Just a thought
  12. Two thumbs down. Waste of money and waste of Weimer as trade bait. Extremely underwhelming!
  13. Great article, great play. Loved the 628 hits vs 13 outs. Puts it in perspective.
  14. Really like the start and REALLY like the fresh air that Pat Murphy is bringing into the room. Looks like he is a great fit as their manager. Seems to relate well to varying kinds of personalities.
  15. Loved the return of baseball. Thought it was super funny when Hoskins sent out the the cry baby gesture. Glad no one was hurt but the word dramatic fit the moment related to McNeil's reaction. He just over reacted. :)
  16. Really enjoying the energy of Pat Murphy. He seems so comfortable in the role and who he is as a human. This has been a breath of fresh air with his leadership just beginning to blossom. Good things on the horizon with him in the helm.
  17. The perspective regarding our minor league system has really changed in the last couple of years. Hats off to Matt Arnold and the scouting crew!
