  1. Greatly enjoyed the article Matty! Especially resonate with your statement: "The 2026 Cardinals aren't the 2025 Brewers; those Brewers were better. The 2026 Brewers aren't the 2025 Cubs; these Brewers are better." Couldn't agree with you more.
  2. It just looks like he has got the "it" factor. The "It" will keep on growing.
  3. Joey Tito Ortiz will be a fine platoon at third with Hamilton. Glad Renhifo is no longer in the picture. Gladly take Ortiz's defense over Renhifo. If only Joey could hit 240!
  4. Really like this move. Bring up Cooper and either DFA or trade Renhifo. The trade deadline is 6 weeks away. Let him settle in. Focus on a reliever and 3rd baseman at the trade deadline.
  5. Instead of getting rid of some prospects I would strongly prefer bringing them up and allowing them to play. Get rid of Renhifo and bring up a prospect or two.
  6. Thanks for the interesting article. Filled with much imagination. I would just say pump the brakes until Brandon Woodruff returns. Let's see how his rehab goes. Getting sooner.
  7. Seems like a foregone conclusion that they will be trading for some relief pitching while also bring up Jett Williams. Renghifo is a sore thumb in an infield full of defensive gems. His double hitches on throwing across the diamond are irksome. Trade Mitchell for a bullpen arm not a bullpen rental.
  8. Mitchell is not spelled "MITT"chel lately. Your videos display more of his tentativeness. MLB is a tough way to make a living. His defense could overcome some of his hitting deficiencies. Now both aren't as strong as they have been. Getting the feeling he will be included in a trade at the trade deadline. Got to start playing some of these minor league savants like Luis Lara and Jet Williams. Trade Mitchell for relief pitching.
  9. His running from first to third after the pitcher thru the ball past the first baseman was incredible to watch. What would it be to run like that? I know what it means to run like Gary Sanchez but Hamilton is just electric.
  10. thanks for the info. That helps.... 2032 is a long time away.
  11. How long do the Brewers control his contract before he becomes a free agent? Does calling him up for a stint in the majors this year accelerate the length of their control?
  12. Great story about a wonderful human. Must have taken alot of courage to live and eventually die with Parkinson's. Blessings to his family!
  13. Great article. Really enjoyed the info about Pratt trying to learn Spanish to better communicate with his Latin American team mates. The Brewers are indeed loaded in their minor league system.
  14. Gary Sanchez has 11 years of major league experience and has never played first base. Kind of surprising really. Doesn't mean he won't. The out of the box Brewer's think- tank may have other ideas. I checked and found Luis Renfigo in his 8 yr career has also never player first base. David Hamilton has also never played first but has been in the other infield spots and the outfield. Brandon Lockridge also has no experience at first base. Jeferson Quero also has no first base experience. Blake Perkins doesn't either. Thankfully Jake Bauers does and will play there but he will probably be platooned with someone else at first. I wonder if they pondered bringing up Brock Wilken's who plays third but has also been learning to play first since last year. Big dude at 6ft 4in. All that being said I trust in Matt Arnold and Pat Murphy having a plan.

  16. Appreciate the article. I enjoy hearing about Pat Murphy's perspective about the player. His ability to communicate with players is exceptional.
  17. So glad Pat Murphy is the "busdriver" on this team. Fortunate for his "servant leadership" as the article describes.
  18. His availability if it can be counted on would be like maple syrup ontop of a stack of pancakes...sweet :)
  19. Glad That Luis is not being thought of as a long term third baseman. So many options like Brock Wilkins in the farm system. How Jett Williams fits in will determine alot of this. It would be better if Jett is the SS (the jury is still way out on this), Ortiz moves to third and Turang stays at second. Then Luis Rengifo is the utility infielder. Way way better than another year of Montesterio and Seigler.
  20. Impressive trade for the Brewers. Williams at SS with Ortiz as a defensive late inning player. Durbin at third, Turang at second. Their speed as a team is amazing. Their minor league prospects also amazing. A small market team moving the needle!
  21. I couldn't agree more with your article Jake. He has been very effective fir us but is a ticking time bomb as an aging lefty. As the year goes on his age may show itself more. Flip him for a 8th inning set up pitcher or a 3rdbase/SS with some zip.
  22. Appreciate this information. I trust Matt Arnold's judgement more than my opinions. He usually is on the right side of a trade. Thanks Jason
