  1. I think this ump just prefers veteran pitchers
  2. yeah, I think it's a case of pacing
  3. need to add on now. Murph showed a lot of patience with Hall. More than I had, for sure.
  4. I think that Hoskins just hasn't had a lot of practice sliding lately.
  5. Chourio with his first Sophia Minnaert interview!
  6. Looking forward to Murph's postgame interview. I have a sneaking suspicion that it'll be more fun than Counsell's.
  7. After today, only one with a first pitch homer. I'm guessing.
  8. I'll take a 5 run first with plenty of add-ons, please. For the Brewers offense, to be clear.
  9. Bold indeed! I've got one...the Brewers will have 3 players with 30 or more dingerz.
  10. It feels like they waited as long as they could to do this. Maybe they were trying to find a deal for him, but maybe they were trying to reduce the number of teams with room to claim him. Or maybe they didn't trust his spring numbers.
  11. Get a roof, morans!
  12. Nicely done, Jack. Question for you: would it be logical to assume that his success with the 4 seamer vs righties was in some part due to the surprise element of the pitch, and a heavier usage might degrade its effeciveness? Not to say it isn't still a good idea - any time you can get hitters thinking about 3 pitches instead of two you have most likely increased your ability to get outs, but the pitch might not generate a direct correlation to better results...at least not at the rate of success as ly.
