  1. ideally: - chips - shredded nacho cheese - Famous Dave's Sweet & Zesty BBQ sauce - Lloyd's BBQ pork - sliced Jalapeno peppers - zesty ranch sauce Probably about 3,000 calories per serving, but sometimes you just gotta.
  2. I guess I don't understand what the deal is... He's got a steady girlfriend, so why is some blog talking about how he's "nailing every girl in Milwaukee". This is a bit trashy for the site, and I'm locking the thread. Please, no more chick threads.
  3. It's basically a restaurant, so yes, you'll get charged for food and beverages. Personally, I don't like it because it feels like a very sterile place to watch a game (at least indoors). It's not too bad on the deck, tho.
  4. Do we know for sure that he's been moved to the outfield permanently?... Or is this simply to give him exposure to more positions so he can be a super-utility guy? Personally, I think it's the latter.
  5. Yes, GMA weekend edition starts at 6am and goes to 7am, it looks like.
  6. I hid a comment in this thread relating to the pros/cons of eating meat and the effects it has. Let's please keep the focus on Fielder's appearance on GMA. I know this will be difficult, given the strong opinions people feel about this particular topic. But please, let's do our best to keep the moderators' blood pressure at a reasonable level.
  7. I had to lock the other Prince Fielder/Veggie thread, so I'm just warning people to please play nicely in this thread.
  8. Locking this thread down. People aren't playing nicely, and are starting to attack each other instead of having a meaningful debate.
  9. How on earth was I talking about politics? How is this about party lines? Look, if you feel that FDA guidelines are good enough for you, and you're confident that everyone in the chain that's handling your food is doing a great job, by all means, it's your body, and you can feel free to do what you want. However, I've done enough research to know that I can't account for each link in the chain. I have no doubt that the vast majority of the hard-working people in the meat industry are doing the very best they can. However, it's simply human nature that people will make mistakes. All it takes is a few mistakes, or a bribe here and there to overlook things, and I'm eating poison. Honestly, I think what we have here is the early-season jitters, just like we have EVERY season here at Brewerfan.
  10. Can you trace all the meat you eat back to the source where it was raised? If you can't, then you have no idea what they're putting in those animals. With vegetables, there's a lot less "moving parts".
  11. Urban legends and the unexplained are one of my guilty pleasures, as is the history of video gaming. I ran across this urban legend recently: Polybius Anyone know anything about this? I'm 75% sure it's a hoax, but for some reason, it piqued my interest.
  12. Efforts to get in contact with Bill (Batman) haven't gone well over the past year or so. He had a lot of stuff going on in "real" life, including doing a lot of things for the debate club at his alma mater. I think it was just an issue with he being burned out on everything. We all wish him the best of luck going forward, and if you're reading this Bill, you always have a warm seat here at Brewerfan.
  13. I sent this thread to my co-worker. He'll be registering later and should be able to respond to any Golden Tee questions.
  14. I think the only factor to consider there would be psychological, and I think even that's a stretch. Protein is protein is protein... If he's getting the correct nutrients, it doesn't matter what the source is. I stopped eating meat for 3 months, and I had no problem getting enough protein and going to the gym.
  15. I think you would probably change your mind about that if you realized what kids of drugs they pump into animals.
  16. Chronicles of Narnia when they "kill" Aslan... very powerful Christian symbolism there.
  17. Which version?... Live or 4?
  18. I've got a buddy at work who deals/services Golden Tee machines on the side, and has traveled to play in tournaments. What do you want to know?
  19. Hey TLB, I have absolutely no experience when it comes to dealing with divorced parents, but I want you to know that you and your family are in Nicole and my prayers.
  20. http://www.missouristate.edu/assets/dining/Grill_155.jpg
  21. I broke up with a girlfriend because I either had to try to "work things out" which meant driving to Platteville ....... or going to Umbrella Night. Umbrella Night 1, Ex-Girlfriend 0.
  22. scooping the cat boxes. filthy savages.
