  1. I’m sure he will favor the 4 seam like he has all season but the cutter will also be a factor……both have been excellent pitches this season. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/jacob-misiorowski-694819
  2. They aren’t going to DH Sanchez with no other back up catcher. They can use him in a leverage situation late if situation warrants it.
  3. Yep……it’s been a great season that we all hope continues through the World Series……but it’s basically a coin flip……..
  4. Tiny samples but Brewers haven’t had much success against Ray https://www.espn.com/mlb/player/batvspitch/_/id/32175/robbie-ray
  5. Tomorrow is 3 days rest……..not sure why anyone would start him on short rest and curtail his innings when you can have him fully rested in game 2 and game 5 if needed. I will be shocked if they do that.
  6. If they are seriously consider pitching King on 3 days rest when he can pitch game 2 and game 5 on 4 days rest they are idiots.
  7. Every broadcaster and player who is asked says Yelich is the unquestioned leader…..that doesn’t mean other guys aren’t leaders as well but Yelich is that guy….no matter what fans might think. Turang, Mitchell, Sal and Murph have all said it starts with him…..from very early on when young guys get their first taste of spring training…..
  8. “Well, none of it reallyworked.” How can you say it didn’t work ? They did manage to finish only 14 games back!
  9. https://x.com/cyrthogg/status/2105731498301399442?s=61
  10. Pretty cool story…… Jake was ready to call it a career after his playoff homer……but then fate intervened…….
  11. Padres were also 1-5 against the Cubs in the regular season before sending them home last night in a sweep. Regular season doesn’t mean much if anything.
  12. I think it’s more likely Hook retires before he ever gets fired or leaves and the Brewers promote Jim Henderson to the head job.
  13. I remember when this was considered a major loss for the Brewers……good times.
  14. That lefty reliever for the Braves didn’t allow one homer vs a lefty all season and gave up back to back to Schwarber and Harper………sometimes it all makes sense until it doesn’t.
  15. Obviously things are probably different post all star game…….but for the season the Padres have a higher team ops against righties than lefties. Tatis obviously kills lefties and Merrill and France hit both about the same.
  16. You weren’t alone…….🙋🏻‍♂️
  17. It’s weird……as we get near the end of the season…….knowing it will end in joy or sorrow…..I find myself already looking forward to next season……..also knowing that next season is in no way a certainty. I don’t like endings…….like I said…..it’s weird. 🤷‍♂️
  18. So it seems like Sproat was the biggest disappointment based on numerous posters thinking of him as ROY and a few as our Cy Young. on the plus side not many had faith in Mitchell…….he stayed healthy all year and played well. credit to those posters who believed in Bauers…….right on folks. Some pretty detailed off the wall predictions thrown in that made me lol in retrospect.
