Why would he make it up……especially the last part? Brewers certainly don’t need to mislead the fan base about how serious they were pursuing a player……..especially a guy like this that nobody thought we were going to get.

For only 2 years of control……probably have to trade him again after 1…… don’t think I’d give up what it would take to get him. It’s one thing to give up a bunch of prospects for 4 or 5 years of control but 2 just doesn’t interest me as much…….plus there is the injury risk with him.
