  1. Well, it turns out to be Dropkick Murphy's, frequently confused with Flogging Molly. I shall have to buy it. It sounds like a good song to start a good drunken brawl too.
  2. Anybody watching on FSN know who the artist/title of that song they just played over season highlights? It sounded like Flogging Molly, but I can be sure.
  3. Miller is run by a South African company. They have to sell beer all over, so I don't have a problem with the board. Look, 90% of the beer produced at Milwaukee Miller is consumed in Chicago. Heck, we even make the Old Style they consume right here. How they are willing to pay 8 bucks for a glass of rat urine is beyond me. You want to support a local Milwaukee brewer? Go buy a Sprecher or a Lakefront.
  4. Your hawingness, Our old seats were the last section in front of the pressbox, 216 or 17. Really didn't get any daygame sun unless the game went late. Even then, if you were farther back in the section, you didn't get much at all.
  5. Hey, congrats to you as well Point. And yes, Point is the best, although I am draining a PBR as I type this. Been married for 2.2 years in baseball terms at his point. I plan in pitching like 5 complete games in a row. Enjoy the ride.
  6. Oh yeah, I thought the reference was to the earlier one. I will now vent about the accuracy of my own putdowns. TheBwaz, he sucks at it.
  7. Not to disagree with you, oh wise One, but Mench got the guy going for second. That said, will vent at the bullpen (minus Wise). Ned can't make them throw strikes. About the only gripe I have is using Latin Cappy over Villy Ice.
  8. First off, I am not a Yost basher, but talk about a non-winning line up. I know its Sunday and the "by the book" says get your guys some rest, buuuuut, we just had a day off Thursday and the break is coming up. I was at the game. Got there at 1145. The air temp was fine, but sitting in that bright high sun, it was a little warm. So, what up with the Blue Jerseys Yo? I know he is a Texan and 70 probably feels like winter to him, but come on. I think he baked Bill Hall cause Hall did not look sharp all day. Hawing, it was nice to meet you. The S.O. must feel like a bouncer sometimes with random wierd internet guys just wandering up to you to say hi. I won't ruin your story, but both my Dad and I got the pink bat Halls. Little B loves it already.
  9. I'll throw the Big Ben That is why W-L is a bad predictor of a SP's ability. Suppan was...um...not 8 win worthy tonight. But he got it.
  10. Dude, that Braun photoshop looks disturbingly like Kevin Federline.
  11. The ban on liquor ads was self imposed by the networks in order to keep the FCC off their backs. In 2000 or 01 NBC started accepting booze ads to run on SNL (which you need to be hammered to watch anyway). Slowly, everybody else picked up on it. From what I recall, they still try to limit those ads to later on in prime time. Oh, and whoever came up with the SoCo and lime commercial needs to be sent to the same circle of hell the "Bella Delina!" people were sent to.
  12. That is the last time today I go to the file room. Wow, that inning looked bad. And Mench with the backward K. Groovy.
  13. It was Ueck no doubter. "Billy Hall to left and deep! Get up! Get outta here! GONE, for BILL HALL!"
  14. Ole ole ole ole! Ole! Ole! Go Bill Hall!
  15. My new job precludes the joining of chat during the day, but I will be there in spirit. C'mon, win! We would be, what, 7-1 since the recent unpleasantness?.
  16. I had to watch the rosters for a while, but it is now official. I am going to an Indy Indians game on Saturday, and Jose and Kolb are still there. I have a nice bachelor party group of 20 guys going. If there are any longstanding or deeply held emotions you would like expressed at close range to these guys let me know. As long as they won't get us tossed, I'll get 20 guys to shout it from behind the dugout. Childish, yeah. But oh so fun.
  17. May. I did not like May. Goodbye May. Oh and Vargas? You pitch mas despacio. Even Uke was cathing zzzZZZZs between pitches. Hustle up.
  18. Hey, my folks live in Whitefish freaking Bay, and they and a neighbor got broken into last week. It just shows, no matter where you live, stuff can happen. Especially if you leave things unlocked. Haven't you ever seen the footlocker scene from Full Metal Jacket? Lock your stuff up, or R Lee Ermey will make you do pushups while eating a twinkie. Protect yourself, because nobody else is going to do it for you.
  19. Wow, all the radon in the Waukesha wells is making folks crazy. First we have dudes with swords breaking in 8 hours after some porn watching, now a guy sniffing 1500 pairs of shoes. Yes, I know he is from Kenosha, but he didn't do this at home. And people say Milwaukee is odd. An alderman on the take is postively normal compared to swashbuckling shoe sniffers.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  20. Right now, the street view only exists when they send somebody out to take a 360 shot, it is not like it is constantly updating or anything. Not to be "that guy", but you have no expectation of privacy in a public place. Now, if they start looking in your window, there is a problem. But if you don't want all the pron on your bedroom computer to be seen from the street, best pull the shade.
  21. While living in a ground floor apartment a few years ago, I caught a guy trying to use a slim jim to pop the lock on my deck door. Tapping the Glock on the window tends to make your point. Never got hassled again.
  22. Todays the Day Bush turns it around. Wake up bats, get him a lead early. You know what they call it when you win two games in a row? A winning streak! Startin' to come together Pepper, its startin to come together.
  23. Point of order, businesses can discriminate. They can refuse service to whomever they want provided they do not do so on the basis of race, religion, gender, sex or handicap. There are other states that expand on this. Other than those reasons, they can say to whoever they want. I don't think the management is asking for too much here. Keep it civil, no flame wars, lay off the curses, and try to contribute something subtansive. The house makes the rules. Either live by the rules or take your business elsewhere. I miss the lemur pictures though. Can that be my complaint? For those of us predisposed to the witty responses and non sequitur one liners, try the in game chat. It rocks.
  24. Oress conference later this morning. JS is saying it is a "public corruption" case. If that is true I wll fall down and die of not-surprise. Man though, being this guys lawyer is GUARANTEED continuous employment.
  25. Backup QB Always better Bring up Nashville
