  1. Can’t really start a game much better in the NFL. (Maybe getting another first down just short of the goal line and running a little more clock.) Ball control at near perfection to open the game.
  2. Between Bryan Hudson (6'8") and Clayton Andrews (5'6"), the Brewers will have quite a wide spectrum of height for their potential lefty bullpen candidates.
  3. Some of the season-long faults of the team showed up in the second half. Couldn’t convert first-and-goal from the 1. Gave up a 98 yard touchdown drive with little resistance. Offensive line got run over on the final drive. Fickell will need to show some improvement in next season’s squad. Don’t doubt that it can be shown.
  4. Special teams really needs to be critically examined in the off-season as much as the defense. Wouldn’t mind seeing both Barry and Bisaccia sent packing.
  5. Clinical touchdown drive. Love is nearly making all the right calls and throws tonight.
  6. Got the 4th down defensive stop. Turnover on downs. Potential chance for the offense to put a stranglehold on game.
  7. Defense gets to face the gunslinger in Mullens now. Need to hold up in the 3rd Quarter.
  8. REEEEED! WOW that rookie is good! ….and there is the standard Carlson missed PAT.
  9. Strip sack! Time to get points before the halftime.
  10. What an effort for a touchdown! Big, big drive for the offense!
  11. Let the game get back to one score. Big drive coming up if the offense can get points.
  12. Thought that trying another mob QB sneak attempt could have picked up the first down. Still had a great play called on 4th down, but couldn’t execute it.
  13. Tonight has the feel of one of those several 2008 losses during Rodgers’ first year as starter.
  14. Forget that. Plenty of amateur hour on display in tonight’s game. Tossed away what should’ve been a road win.
  15. What a catch!
  16. Just got one.
  17. Need a whole crate of rockets lit up under some people on the sideline.
  18. Have the top paid special teams coordinator for that?
  19. Not as expected, but still a lead at halftime. Can’t let the Giants hang around. Need to exert some control of the game in the third quarter.
  20. With multiple Monday night games going on, did we get the junior varsity officiating crew?
  21. Have managed so far to avoid points off turnovers and giving the Giants a short field after special teams penalty. Playing with fire, though.
  22. Big stop by the defense. Time to get seven with a short field.
  23. Needed to lower the shoulder and try to run over a defender. Not the usual advice to a QB. But better than fumbling.
  24. Can’t allow DeVito to escape that much when pressured. Two positive runs after his offensive line basically collapsed. Need to turn those into sacks.
  25. Action-packed last five minutes, though no points were scored. Can’t feel badly about being up 17 at halftime. But feels like just a little momentum got lost by being unable to tack on at least one more score.
