More single-season franchise records/achievements are out there for the team to chase in these last 41 games of the 2025 season: 894 - Most runs scored in 162 games (1996) 604 - Fewest runs allowed in 162 games (1992) 96 - Most regular season wins (2011, 2018*) Best regular season record in league (1982, 2018) Best regular season record in MLB (1982) Win a League Pennant (1982) Win a World Series (Never) Matching or surpassing these would make this an all-time team in franchise history. The runs scored and runs allowed records may be a challenge, but those last five achievements definitely seem possible.

    Just an amazing run this 2025 season is. Seems like whatever goes wrong for the other team is capitalized on by the Brewers over these past several months. It’s almost as if they’re using Murphy’s Law as a tool, as if they’re Murphy’s Litigators.

    At the level the team is currently playing at, I could anticipate today's Sunday Lineup scoring at least 6 runs.

    I wonder if there is a sense of near invincibility setting in among the players. It can be a fine line between overconfidence (“just roll the helmets out there”) and proper belief in oneself. But feeling that every game is winnable if each player simply does his job—and not someone else’s—falls on the right side of that line. With these multiple winning streaks and lack of big blowout losses lately, I get the vibe that Murphy has instilled that mindset with everyone on the roster.

    I must admit that I did not expect anything like this from Woodruff in the injury comeback season. Maybe something like a 4.25 ERA with a bunch of 5 inning starts. But this performance so far is solidly a #2 starter and pushing toward the top of rotation.

    Having no real target shortstop at the trade deadline hurt. Wonder if there had been any look at some other team’s prospect shortstop (like Darell Hernaiz from the Athletics) while offering a pitching prospect in return.
