  1. just find the TBS version of major league. dorn to vaughn at the end of the game: "strike this...guy...out"
  2. barbs...your house is falling apart http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  3. tomlinson is a left fielder "tomlinson is going to need a visa to catch that one" is a uecker quote about a home run. with hayes in center and cerrano in right, tomlinson has to be in left.
  4. i cant afford to take off monday and friday so i will be listening at work on monday
  5. finally i am first in the list for something...not used to that with a "t" last name. i heart direct deposit.
  6. according to the interview on 620 yesterday afternoon, parking is still available. but then again the interview never mentioned that preferred parking is already sold out.
  7. the market has an interesting voice. i sold 2 similar tickets the other day for virtually the same price on ebay.
  8. i understand the frustration, and believe me i have had my problems with the ticket office, but what can you really do short of cancelling your order? i felt the same way when i got the runaround with opening day tickets. assuming they sold about 15,000 season ticket packages adding up all the partial plans (totally a guess) i can't see any business able to ship all these on the same day. i got three separate mailings from them on three different dates. the season tickets, the opening day extra tickets, and my parking passes...in no particular order. and the delivery confirmation did not require a signature...i am sure the mail carrier just scans something or enters something when they deliver it.
  9. last name t terrace tickets got tickets last week. probably no rhyme or reason to how the tickets go out. tickets are delivery confirmed, so they will know if they were lost in the mail
  10. i would be willing to take any of the cards off your hands that anyone else doesnt want. temke@yahoo.com
  11. funny. i was watching the badger game friday morning with some friends. we jokingly said chalk him up for a win when he was down 7 after the first day.
  12. i got my extras the other day, and got the season tickets today. dont worry...they will come
  13. i got a call last week about the ball. i thought i was too late for the deal but apparently i wasnt. in the end, i opted for the club passes since a baseball is not easy to split among 4 people sharing tickets! side note: the ticket office person informed me that one of my options was "charlie villanueva"
  14. in short...yes. at least in my experiences. most of the time they do a decent job, but they seem somewhat disorganized at times. i really think that the ticket office was not ready for the success of the team over the past couple years. i thought in the past that you could get extra tickets to the opener equal to the number of tickets you hold. if your friend has 2, i think they would be entitled to 2 additional. i have 4 so i could get 4 extras. as for the opener, many have heard my problems so i wont rehash them. i finally ended up with 20 SRO seats after ordering 40 in the club in past years.
  15. pick n save on holt in bay view had a bunch this evening
  16. more teams are following this trend it seems. and in all sports. i remember seeing a hockey team play on green ice once (maybe the admirals...not sure)
  17. family guy for me. i enjoyed the first season, mainly because i found it appalling that it aired at 6:00ish on sunday. many of the topics and jokes in the first season had no business being on network TV at that time. now it seems that the show is a whole bunch of "like the time that (blank)", followed to a flashback. it got old really quick to me.
  18. i just ordered general passes through my rep. they are no longer selling preferred passes.
  19. these were two different moments. there really wasnt a "defining moment" during the FF run in 2000. the whole thing was pretty darn cool though. mothing beat dick bennett slurring through a speech and duany duany rapping at camp randall when they arrived home. i swear the entire place (fans, players, etc) was drunk
  20. tell that to marquette folks. they seem to think the the local writers lean more toward the badgers...especially in hoops. i dont see a badger moment making it until they win a football or basketball national championship.
  21. this was my first thought as well. not necessarily "fancy" like the other restaurants mentioned, but another intersting place is the polaris restaurant at the top of the hyatt downtown.
  22. witrado has been writing prep columns for the past year or two.
  23. same here as well. i have left with anywhere from 2-10 in the past. we shall see what happens. i will post here with what i have after the game
  24. 500k came from "an anonymous donor"
  25. just wanted to keep this on the first page. this is really good if you know the game.
