  1. And you would consider your post not silly then, I gather?
  2. Saying “SELL to Brewers fans” has never gotten this kind of passionate response by a supposed Brewers fan on a die hard Brewers fan website. You’re Talking resale value…ha. I just want the best Brewers atmosphere for the game and the team. Brewers are looking for ways not to have people like you handling extra tickets
  3. And my high horse says, “Naaay…naaaay” to selling playoff seats to the enemy.
  4. Just great to hear people who can’t afford the strips making profits off of flipping them to whomever, isn’t it? Not hating you personally, but I’m glad you are not selling this year. I hope you can still get to a playoff game…nothing like it. I’m going to the playoffs by buying them from the team. Nothing wrong with that. These games are all sold out with Brewers fans only if the team is giving the opportunity. Absolutely and certainly. Flippers are making it tougher to get Brewers fans there. No doubt. And the biggie…..Brewers themselves don’t want ANY on secondary markets.
  5. Brewers don’t want you selling to non-Brewers fans….not silly at all. And this is obvious. That is the disturbing and maddening part. Of course you can legally sell to whomever; doesn’t mean you should. And don’t buy the strip if you cannot afford it…..Or if you cannot rid it to fellow Brewers fans lest be branded a Brewers traitor and punk. I have been a Season Ticket holder in the early days of Miller Park, have led dozens of group outings, and have attended well over 200 games since 2001. I have attended 6 playoff games and have been included in the early presale, buying two games for the 2025 NLDS. Making me out to be a fringe fan nobody while being fine with another happily getting his palm greased by enemy fans for tickets will not win points from the die hards who simply want Brewers fans to get a fair FIRST crack at the the playoff seats. Sell outs sell out for the buck first…and it is especially disgusting to do that come playoff time! Sell your strip to whomever? What kind of a fan is that. One’s own business? Exactly. That would be one’s own selfish business instead of a collective responsibility that should go unsaid.
  6. I would like to see our playoff home games packed to the brim with Brewers fans! Of course! If you have your strip and you cry poverty and love capitalism, please see your duty as a fan and sell them to a Brewers fan! It should be extra hard for Cubs/Dodger/Phillies fans to get in. We control that….no one to blame but ourselves.
  7. Suck it up and pitch…….what would Vuc do?
  8. Now 11-2 with win tonight…74-23 Rs/Ra
  9. 10-2…. Going to two more regular season games, LW.
  10. Came to preseason game at this ballpark.. My late uncle had a 20 year old Lexus for a main reason of a ballpark perk directly across street….the Lexus Lot. Each year he went to his Lexus dealer for a sticker to put on his dash, it gave him free parking right next to the stadium. https://www.parkplace.com/lexus-texas-rangers-benefits.htm
  11. So the team must matter on days the pitcher pitches, right? We agree on this? The catcher frames a ball for a strike.. He saves a wild pitch not letting a run score. The SS makes a key snag. Charlie throws out Reggie at 3B. The team obviously matters defensively in games being pitched. It is not ALL on the pitcher to do. His numbers are partly due to the catcher, defense behind him, team/coach support, medical staff, etc. It matters SOMEWHAT in games played. The TEAM. So to me it’s not a big leap to also say it matters SOMEWHAT in the types of games the pitchers pitch in. Pitchers that have to STILL pitch stress-filled games in a pennant race are not remotely close to those bleh games for 4 or 5 months with Skenes. If individual stats are C L O S E…I give it the guy who pitches in games that matter. And I don’t feel sorry for Skenes being sleighed for on the Pirates, and yes it is completely fair. It should be like this for all teams….types of games pitched in should matter SOMEWHAT since the team they play on helps/hurts them already. Skenes still gets my pretend vote, but it isn’t over.
  12. It’s a combo….not one or the other to me. Skenes has to clearly be in a separate class of individual numbers to win it. It appears he does. But if Peralta closes that gap enough….Skenes struggles and Peralta has 20 plus wins with 3 or 4 stellar starts, I would give it to him. Again, cry all you want about being on a poor team, games pitched for Peralta in a pennant race are much more meaningful for a starter. The team is depending on you to perform, stop a losing streak, pitch that extra inning to save the bullpen, etc. Not so much with Skenes this year or last. For anyone not to take those differences into account, they are not living in reality. Clemens would get my vote for CY Young that year for this reason too. Brewers were just not competitive enough. The games down the stretch carried little weight. Sheets looked a little better by individual numbers, but still not enough on a bottom dwelling team where very little in game pressure lived.
  13. Wins/IP for a pennant chasing team should matter. All games are not equal….Pitt hasn’t had a meaningful game since May. He has no pressure to pitch and no team to carry. And I realize how CY Young voting has changed analytically over the last decade plus, but I don’t a have to agree with it. I still choose Skenes now….but it is much closer among the top 3 to me.
  14. On Sept 2, EsPN had odds of -4100 Skenes 11-1 Sanchez 40-1 Peralta Skenes needs a couple blowups and Peralta needs to be nearly perfect with 20 wins…….and it wouldn’t hurt if Brewers won division with 100 wins too.
  15. Winning a series, probably. The franchise has won only 3 series, remember. 10 playoffs, 3 series wins, and 22-32 in playoff games. Winning a series and finishing farther than the Cubs would probably be enough. Happy but disappointed.
  16. Please Tell your dad that 70 + year olds Steve and Betty, their eldest son/wife….and their young daughters say hi….often loved sitting in that back row of 217, in Bill’s section. We likely will be around the ballpark that last weekend September. If he can get to games/playoff games, please let us know so we can say hey…..and a huge thanks for being a great usher for so long for us.
  17. Who do we have at defensive tackle.
  18. Absolutely. When we lose, it is surprising now to me that they didn’t find a way to come back.
  19. Noticed they seem to clear out all the fans from behind the dugout’s first 10 rows during the postgame Sophia talk on the field. Is this a new?
  20. 63-18 in runs scored/runs against……going WED.
