  1. Yeah a trade is probably what we should do. I am a believer in Quero but he is probably 2 years away so a stop gap of at least 2 seasons would be nice. The Braves have 3 catchers, maybe we can swing a deal for one of them.
  2. While I agree that we need some help against LHP, it would not be wise to spend a lot to do it. I like Drury in theory but not if we spend all of the money we are planning to spend this offseason on him. I would rather upgrade at catcher as I would prefer VC to be the backup and I don't believe Felicano is ready/good enough.
  3. His OBP is good because he hits for a high average, not that he walks a lot. To give up top end talent, I'd prefer OBP and Slugging or at the very least potential for Slugging to go up. I think Arraez is what he is right now. A good player but not elite.
  4. This screams of the Twins selling high on Arraez. I would not give up any of our top end talent for him.
  5. Yes I did. It's a little annoying that it takes 5 days to get into your account but I've now deposited twice. $42 earned so far which is more than I earned in my regular savings all year.
  6. Andor is excellent
  7. I am looking to put some money in there for that next week.
  8. My health insurance for 2023 actually went down.
  9. Ibond deadline is quickly approaching if you want the 9+%. I just got mine today.
  10. My brokerage is 3% which I assumed is okay but was hoping for better obviously. Still better than the .50% that used to be common.
  11. What are you guys finding for good savings interest rates right now? I am sitting on a sizeable house down payment and want to be doing better than what I am doing right now.
  12. Opportunity Cost is the Risk. Not sure how your realtor explaining that they weren't seriously interested in selling is going to help sell that house that's been on the market for 6 months because they have to sell now. I hear that and I think I am going to use every piece of leverage to get this house for as low as possible.
  13. Uh no, there is risk because there are only so many buyers in this area with the kind of money that would buy your very expensive house. You say no after having it on the market for over 6 months to an offer that is at ask or over ask, you won't get that buyer again. That buyer will move on or just build their own house and say go pound sand. There is absolutely risk and saying otherwise is not understanding the basics of buying and selling. Yes I said you would need another place lined up because you need somewhere to live if you sell your only house. I mean you could live in a hotel for a while but that would be pretty dumb.
  14. Using that logic, everyone should just have their house listed all of the time. Why not right?
  15. Unless you own another place or have one lined up "make me move" in this market is pretty risky.
  16. I thought I might need a charge in Sheboygan so I went out of my way to go to a KT. What a huge waste of time and embarrassing for KT to even have it. Thanks for reminding me how angry I was when I saw this.
  17. Yes, the housing market is local. We are looking to do a major upgrade to our housing situation and there isn't much out there. One house that we like a lot is clearly significantly overpriced and has been on the market almost 6 months. If your house isn't selling in a month or so, you are overpriced. Same for an investment property I put an offer in on and didn't even get a counter. Now it is sitting on the market.
  18. The rankings are all over the place for the Crew which just goes to show there are quite a few interesting players in the system. I see a lot of potential major leaguers which we will need to stay competitive.
  19. Once he puts that Brewers jersey on, it drops 200 points. Looking at your Cutch...

  21. I have no additional hardware installed to charge. Honestly, I don't really need it. I live 5 miles from where I work. I did a 200 mile trip once. There were no legitimate chargers so I hypermiled my way home. Get your **** together FDL and Sheboygan... So in 18 months, I have only wanted to use a supercharger once. I think if they put stations off of major highways every 50 miles, that would be enough. It is sad we are not even there yet in Wisconsin.
  22. I've owned an EV for about a year and a half and here are the pros and cons Pro No more gas stations Cheap Fast Quiet Cons Range decreases in cold weather Not enough charging stations yet
  23. EVs are vastly superior in a traffic jam versus ICE
  24. Yes but hitting the peak is important as everything moves slowly and you have to start on a better trajectory. No one thinks inflation will suddenly go back to 2% overnight. The EV stuff is interesting. No one cared about the environment impacts of creating ICE cars but suddenly now all of these conservatives care now? Also, the vast majority of charging for EVs is overnight when the grid has excess capacity.
