  1. Maddux for Gwynn makes so much sense it probably wont happen.
  2. You mean trade LaPorta for a bunch of has-beens and place fillers? Who would be the Cleveland version of Moeller, Counsell and Spivey? I think you underestimate the grittyness of those players.
  3. Anybody else see a trade like this being a "Sexson" type trade? I know Richie had some success in the majors before we got him but LaPorta should profile similar.
  4. I would do those trades in a second but I do not think the Indians would take that for C.C.
  5. Hall wouldn't look too bad for them at second base.
  6. We have a former Cy Young award winner in the bullpen if they want a major league player.
  7. What's untradeable about LaPorta? He's a righthanded power hitting corner OF in an organization that has Braun (signed through 2014) and Hart (under Brewer control through 2011). Yes but we need three outfielders and we have an option on one of the ones we have now for next year. All we would have to do is move Corey to center where most agree he could play and then put LaPorta in one of the other spots. It would be nice to use the Cameron savings on Ben.
  8. Why mortgage the future for a slightly better chance? Look somewhere else that would want our spare parts.
  9. According to Baseball Tonight, Roy Oswalt could very well be available soon as the Astros continue to fall back to earth. I think there is no doubt we should go after him but what would we have to give up? I would give up the farm for him because he has years left on his contract.
  10. That does not answer the question so why post anything at all? This IS the Trade Rumors section. I would say Sheets is worth two top prospects and two nice lower level prospects.
  11. Sign me up for that ONLY if we use the Fielder savings to sign Sheets.
  12. I am driving back from Menomonie soon to get back to Beaver Dam. On Saturday, I took the awful 29 to Wausau and then 39 to Portage way (as suggested). I really do not want another 5 hour trip! Anybody have some better suggestions?
  13. What about a trade involving Bedard plus more?
  14. Maybe we could pawn off Suppan on them? They have an excellent infield defense that could really help out Jeff plus we would have more money to sign Sheets. I would give them Soup and two higher prospects for Bedard. Our top three would rival anyone next season and I could definately live with Bush and Parra in the backend.
  15. I currently have AT&T as well and I bought a Nokia N75. DO NOT buy this phone, its an overpriced piece of crap.

  17. Well that is why there are 6pm games on Saturday is what I mean stoutdude04.
  18. Taking Benny out and putting in Torres IS showing urgency and was the correct move.
  19. If you are that incredibly lazy that you can not run out a flyball then you deserve to get doubled up.
  20. Yes you are old, there are lots of well known bands on there.
  21. Vent Thread.
  22. I really hope they do BPA through the entire draft. I have all the faith in the world in Jack though so I am not worried at all.
  23. <---- Marketing and Business Student Teacher, hopefully soon to be full time teacher <---- Part Time Poker Pro
  24. How would you get online on PS3? I am having a hard time figuring it out.
