  1. My God, can we have ANYTHING ELSE possibly go against us this these past few weeks? Every damn close call at a base/home plate, etc has gone against us, and almost every freaking time has been a blown call.
  2. When the freak bounces are going completely against you, it's not a good sign.
  3. Please Soup don't give up the lead after scoring some runs! It really is almost automatic, isn't it? Gah.
  4. I don't see Muse on that list. Crap crap crap Well, you've got one song on the list in GHIII. And I get the impression that a band is going to be in one or the other at this point. Slash has signed on to actually appear in GHIII as a character, as well as adding Welcome to the Jungle and a solo track to the music list.
  5. Making a regular ball look like a HR ball is a dirty job.
  6. I don't mind anyone that doesn't know who the ex-brewers are. I generally agree, as long as they're not claiming/championing themselves to be 'life-long Brewer fans,' as mentioned earlier. If you're a long time Brewer fan and you have no clue who Ted Higuera or Pat Listach or Gorman Thomas is, that's crap. The problem I have are the people who have no clue who the current Brewers are, while decked out in their Brewer regalia. As someone else mentioned in another thread, the people who wonder if Victor Santos is still on the team, and wonder since when has Richie Sexson not played in Milwaukee.
  7. Nothing official, but $199 is largely rumored.
  8. Rock Band announces it will feature downloadable FULL ALBUMS for the game. The first to be available? Who's Next (by the Who). Supposedly Metallica will have one available as well. Also, Steven Van Zandt has signed on to be music advisor. The officially announced songs: * The Who - "Won't Get Fooled Again" * Mountain - "Mississippi Queen"* * David Bowie - "Suffragette City" * Black Sabbath - "Paranoid"* * Blue Oyster Cult - "Don't Fear the Reaper" * The Ramones - "Rockaway Beach" * Rush - "Tom Sawyer"* * Bon Jovi - "Wanted Dead or Alive" * Nirvana - "In Bloom" * Stone Temple Pilots - "Vasoline" * Weezer - "Say It Ain't So" * Foo Fighters - "Learn to Fly" * Metallica - "Enter Sandman" * The Hives - "Main Offender" * The Strokes - "Reptilia" * Queens of the Stone Age - "Go With the Flow" Linkage: ps3.ign.com/articles/803/803857p1.html games.ign.com/articles/803/803922p1.html

  10. Broken or dislocated. Definitely not a blister.
  11. I just can't stand it in sports when there is a major problem and an organization may already have a solution to that problem, but that organization keeps trotting the problem out there...trading Capuano alleviates that issue. It's just interesting that the same exact things were being said about Dave Bush not 3-4 weeks ago, and since then, he's been our 2nd best pitcher.
  12. Being discussed about 8 threads down: p092.ezboard.com/fbrewers...2271.topic
  13. I sure hope Melvin and Co. don't have the same attitude that a lot of people around here do...that everything is OK, and everything will work itself out. I sure hope Melvin and Co. don't have the same attitude that a lot of people around here do...that the sky is falling and we should be benching, DFAing, or optioning everyone who is struggling a bit and replacing them with options that might not actually be better. After all, a large segment of the posting population here has been predicting the Brewers' fall into 2nd place in the division to happen on various dates during the last two months....
  14. Yeah, that's a TON of serious red flags. For all we know, it came right out of the box and he/she/whatever just rubbed dirt on it.
  15. This is the same team that thinks the way to build for a playoff run is by building around 30-35 year old talent and giving them multi-year deals. I'd say the possibility for Doug to completely fleece them is realistic.
  16. Harang is a good call, though the Reds just signed him through 2011 in the offseason. He's due to make a ton of money in 2009, 2010, and if traded, 14.5 million in 2011. I'm guessing the conversation was probably about David Weathers.
  17. Okay, maybe Griffey's name didn't come up in that conversation a half hour ago. But did it come up in an different conversation some other day? His name never came up..... Doug just referred to him as "your centerfielder that used to play for the Mariners and has never even been to a world series" throughout the conversation.
  18. Cappy sucked tonight, Villy sucked tonight. I know you hate Capuano, but don't let that cloud the fact that Villanueva has been horrific tonight. And as he just allows his THIRD HR in the last inning plus, Villy has actually been much, much worse.
  19. If he starts this game, we are definietly in better shape. Based on the 4 ER he allowed himself in fewer innings than Capuano?
  20. Villy gave up as many runs in fewer innings than Cappy.
  21. Gah..... good thing Tulo doesn't have HR power.
  22. What Cappy, do you just stop giving a crap after the team gets you a lead? Thanks for ending the pain, Ned.
