    But, down by a run with one of the better sacrificers on the team at the plate and runners on first and second, how do you not bunt? But on a team that struggles like mad to score runs and get hits with runners in scoring position, why would you take the bat out of the hand of the guy that has the highest average on the team? A basehit is going to tie that game up without a bunt being needed.

    Their bullpen is in big trouble right now without Lehr. Are Capellan, DLR and Davis unavailable to pitch today? Not sure why they're strained in the bullpen simply because Lehr's not there.

    Now I'd say that imploding might be an accurate assessment. And I agree with homer there... swinging away there is not a bad call. 99% of the time people here would be screaming at Yost for having Brady showing bunt in the first place. Absolutely nothing wrong with going for the big inning.

    Sometimes Yost just simply outsmarts himself-- BUNT!!!!!!!! Yep, it was Ned's fault Brady swung at a 2-0 pitch at his shoulders....

    I just dont get why they implode in games like this. And I don't get why a 4-4 game in the top of the 5th is 'imploding.'

    Why bring in Santos-the pitchers spot is up second next inning. To get him a little bit of work but not too much before starting on Wednesday or Thursday?

    Victor seems to be doing his best to go from our best starter in April/May to DFA'd pretty soon...

    and ONLY use Mags as a pinch runner.... PERIOD! And Prince just hit... why are you complaining about Magruder being used?

    The best part is that Burnett threw ~30 pitches in the 1st... nothing like getting into the bullpen in the 5/6 inning.

    Watching the past two games, I'd like to know how in the heck Florida is in the hunt. I agree that they've been brutal this series thus far, but they seem to be doing relatively poorly considering the talent level of the team. With that rotation, they should be way ahead in the wildcard race. They've under performed this year, IMO.

    Seems like he was within the line with at least one foot... Jack is arguing WAAAAAYYY to much here.

    Trader Jack is trying his best to get tossed in order to fire up his team, but the ump won't comply.

    DLR has too much Major League service time to participate in the fall league. I'd think he'll play ball in Mexico this winter, though.

    I think the problem here is that the people who are negative about ned make a point to talk about it 23 hours a day.. and are being very condescending tonight.. Me thinks pogo hit the nail on the head here...

    Hart could be more useful later on in the game against a LHP. Why have him lead off there? And why is Magruder still on this team?
