  1. I can't resist the chance to start a game thread. Here is your first "official" game of the 2009 Brewers campaign. The intrasquad game scheduled to go 5 innings. Unfortunatly there is no audio/gameday for it. Eddie (Ed Sedar)'s Elite 1. Corey Hart RF 2. Craig Counsell 2B 3. Ryan Braun LF 4. Prince Fielder 1B 5. Mike Rivera C 6. Mat Gamel DH 7. Vinny Rottino 3B 8. Alcides Escobar SS 9. Chris Duffy CF Scheduled pitchers: LHP Chase Wright, RHP Tim Dillard, LHP Chris Narveson and LHP R.J. Swindle (Brad) Fischer's Fantastics 1. Rickie Weeks 2B 2. Jason Kendall C 3. Mike Cameron CF 4. J.J. Hardy SS 5. Trot Nixon LF 6. Brad Nelson RF 7. Casey McGehee 3B 8. Mike Lamb 1B 9. Tony Gwynn, Jr. DH Scheduled pitchers: RHP Braden Looper, RHP Mark DiFelice, LHP Sam Narron and RHP Omar Aguilar - I will say 23 - 3 Elites.
  2. Mentotti: Running release (.76?). The next official version is rumored to be out by the end of the month. From what I understand its very simular to .103 (which is the beta I run). It's LOADS faster, coming from an iPhone user the storm is slick, but SLOW. This new update is way faster, I wouldn't say iPhone smooth, but very close. I just wish I could use the gestures that you can in iPhone for the Storm. And they _need_ to add an autolock.
  3. I'm on the "we are a community, we don't screw each other" thing. MLB offers stubhub, so if you want to make a profit just sell it there. This is a fan site, not an auction site.
  4. The storm release OS was very junky. It was functional, but very slow. The newest beta is really nice, I've had it running on my phone for 2 weeks with out a single required battery pull. The platform will be super cool once they resolve all the issues. Just seems to be very slow updates compared to the iPhone.
  5. I've had the Q (launch not revision) and it was just ok. The receiption was kind of junky, and well, Windows Mobile as a platform just sucks. Can't go wrong with Blackberries (Though you are leaving SO many of the capabilities at the door when you don't run BIS or BES). The only big knock on those versions are the small key pads. The storm is nice now that they have new beta revisiions out.
  6. Ewizabeth FTJ Rluz Maas Msc
  7. Josh Kalk (Hardball Times) talked on Brewcrewball about the fight for the last 3 spots for the Brewers bullpen. Check it out Basically he suggests. Swindle (Leftie who can pitch still vs. RHB) Stetter (Pure Loogey) and yep, Gagne.
  8. Woot is broke ohh noes.
  9. Gamel Sidelined By Shoulder Guess he won't get extra time this early ST with Halls injury.
  10. Will this some how make him more patient at the plate?
  11. I think MSC should be official tech support. Ohh or get a mac http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  12. Sure it's not the monitor or power supply? I'd turn off the monitor with the PC on and see if it disappears. Also try to isolate the area about where it starts. PCs a pretty big thing, but if you can narrow down the noise to an area we should be able to narrow down the possible problems.
  13. IIRC FSN said that they are replacing all their equipment over the off season and going to be running pure HD this year. Just wish WMLW would do the same. So we should have a ton of glorious HD to watch.
  14. I must be the only one who didn't like Assassins Creed, I stopped about 3/4 of the way through. I just didn't care for it.
  15. Well, if he starts to drool Cubs during our series with them. WTMJ/BRN made a huge mistake and will have a pretty back lash. I assume they did their due diligence. If not, they shall be receiving a nasty graham every week from me.
  16. If you have a keylogger/trojan/virus you are just going to have it happen again on gmail.
  17. It's a series of authors who do it. One of the authors (who probably did the minor league system analysis) is Eric Johnson, one of the most informed person I know of when it comes to Brewers baseball. The man knows his minor league system like crazy, he actually interviews a lot of them.. check out the one with Cutter Dykstra. Brewcrewball has some of the best talent when it comes to Brewer analysis (I'm not dissing BF.net) around. Contributors such as Jeff Sackman, Josh Kaulk who contribute some GREAT articles talking about things that aren't touched on much here at BF.net. Ever wondered why Seth was effective as a starter? Josh answered it Very good stuff, not nearly the size of BF.net but has some very talented people behind it contributing to a more traditional blog format.
  18. The Gmail attack (as made famous by black hat) was actually a man in the middle attack. Gmail would send the cookie via plain text and not SSL. So someone in the middle, would just take the cookie and use it as their own. They have since changed the way they give you cookies via SSL and should avoid the cookie man in the middle attack. Change you password (duh), update AV and scan, update your spyware thingers and run it.
  19. Bens injury must be weighing pretty heavy on all the teams. I wouldn't be surprised if he's signed closer to the start of ST after he works out and throws the balls for a few clubs. Hopefully he returns to the Brewers after talking to the like of Macha.
  20. This is not good, we have business class service from there guys. And since the location isn't super awesome, we are pretty much stuck with them or leased lines which will increase the costs 4 fold.
  21. The picture appears to be broken, at least I can't see it and the link is only 1 pixel.
  22. A famous person with a attitude? Imagine that....
  23. Can we get a date on the topic header? I keep clicking it excepting to see it's coming up, and not in the past.
  24. I've had both BBonline and NetFlix. So far I like Netflix by a land slide. Both had the same turn around time (1 day receive, 1 day to get next in queue) but noticed if I was looking for older movies or TV series the wait time was pretty bad. Netflix has much faster turn around time for things in queue, yet BBOL has a faster new releases queue. So for me at least, Netflix works better as I like to watch some strange things. And the in store swap is some what of a joke. You have to pay for it, and the store selections are pretty weak sauce. It took the store about 3 days to mail my BBOL stuff, so my queue didn't move because they were lazy.
