  1. From what I understand they also have an interest in generating mold in their homes.
  2. Agreed, if the Brewers play good baseball it doesn't matter who pitches.
  3. Try to find a builder who actually has licensed architects on staff. That way, more customizations are possible. Also, make sure to find a builder willing to give a detailed rundown of all costs involved including sub-contractors, materials, etc. I have heard way to many horror stories about escalating costs from builders who didn't disclose everything. I've heard great things about James Craig Builders though.
  4. When you sweep your division rival in 4 games on 3 game winning homers, you get to trot. Pujols probably would have been worse. And can you imagine what Soriano or Ramirez would've done? Probably turned around and curtsey. I'm sure Ned will talk with him. But really, the guy is on an 8-8 tear and just hit a game winner.
  5. Cmon Solly, need to get the first one. NO WALKS.
  6. I've got the opposite complaint about bikers who ride on busy roads. If you want to be treated like a car, act like one. It is really irritating when you have people on bicycles that are weaving in and out of traffic and not obeying stops in the same manner, etc. The rules of the road are for any vehicle on the road - motor or not. Ironically, I witnessed a biker get pulled over this morning by a sherrif in an SUV. Sorta funny, because it was a remote intersection and I was the only other car around. By FAR though, it's the bumper rider when you are stuck in a line of cars. Seriously, where in the hell do you want me to go? I can't push the line of cars... I usually make a quick point of just coasting for a while with my foot off the gas. No brake, I don't want to die, but I always always do the opposite of what that person wants -- which is to speed out of the way.
  7. Dang. (praying for no injuries) To be fair though, the Cubs can somewhat neutralize our advantage with Zambrano and Harden.
  8. Yeah, I still fear Marmol, but at least theirs cracks.... maybe more cracks form and he totally falls apart. We can hope.
  9. I have confidence in Carlos V, Riske, Torres, & Shouse I still think Stetter could be very useful going forward. Mota COULD find his way back. Gagne is the enigma. If Gagne turns it around, we'll be fine. If he doesn't, we're short. Best fix, in my mind, would be to simply replace Mota with Stetter for the stretch.
  10. CSS, DOM scripting (JS), and Markup (HTML) would be a great starting point -- but I would lean towards a language like PHP, which is widely used in the front-end web design business. Also, learn about Web Standards, SEO, and run through about 50 photoshop tutorials. http://www.i-marco.nl/weblog/images/breakdown.png
  11. I mean, wow, look at all that pitching talent. You have to love the new Cubs-Brewers rivalry.
  12. I hate to be too nuts about this, but they may turn from our most clutch win of the season to our worst loss of the season. Maybe Bush does get in though.
  13. My wife wanted some crazy thread count sheets for Christmas last year. After doing way to much research I found that everything over 600 is basically a gimick, and overstock.com or amazon.com are your friends on prices. After all my grumbling, now I'm the one requesting that we sleep only on the nice sheets. Thus, I'm wussified.
  14. Yes, I pray that Brantley isn't a PTBNL. Escobar will be in Milwaukee next year at a minimum to replace Counsell. And Gamel was clearly more untouchable than LaPorta. Gamel could put up Wade Boggs type number being a lefty hitter at third. 2010 Infield 3B - Gamel SS - Escobar 2B - Hardy 1B - Fielder What happens to Weeks? Well, I have no friggin clue.
  15. I only highlighted the public schools, but if we included private than Marquette would be on par with the tier two schools. It's not nationally recognized like Madison. You really underestimate Milwaukee though, it has a really great business, engineering, and architecture school. Actually Marquette is tier one according to all rankings. So is UW-Madison. UW-Milwaukee is a tier four school. Those are just the facts. Oh, so the arbitrary ranking I came up with now have factual basis - and totally contrary to my opinion. Amazing how this internet works. I am tiering STATE public schools. Just my opinion here, but Marquette is nowhere near Madison is far as national recognition. And Milwaukee is MUCH better than you assume.

  17. I think if you were to tier the public schools in the state you'd end up with something like this: Tier One - Madison Tier Two - La Crosse, Eau Claire, Whitewater, Milwaukee Tier Three - Green Bay, Oshkosh, Stevens Point, Platteville Tier Four - Parkside, Superior, River Falls, Stout Tier Five - Extensions And yes, employers are going to recognize and appreciate degrees from all state schools.
  18. So yeah, I don't usually go for the 'softball' build, but she's well.... pretty.
  19. The Appleton stadium is really nice. I remember watching Prince, Gwynn, & Parra at Beloit -- but that was basically a little league park. I hope it happens.
  20. It really depends on the field you are going into. Some hiring managers I know actually shy away from Marquette a bit. The Madison name is great if you plan on pursuing a graduate degree and need to get into a top school -- otherwise the undergrad degree is just as useful to land you a job as any other state school. In fact, I work for a large Milwaukee company that recruits at all the state schools EXCEPT Madison. And even though Marquette is close, we do not actively recruit there because we've struggled to find the right skill sets. It all depends on the field. And major props on the AP exam -- I remember how difficult that test was. A 5 is terrific.
  21. Menotti80, more people are like you than you think. Every time I've gone to strip-club focused bachelor party, it's been a letdown. There are always a few there that are just to excited for the event and it tends to become a bit strange. I will submit the 100th recommendation for paintball. It was by far the most fun I've had at a bachelor party. Marco polo with paintball guns for the bachelor -- good times. I've also done a rented lodge on a lake and boating, that was a blast.
  22. Really? I was under the impression that he only really provided value as a catcher. Otherwise, he would just be an average prospect.
  23. Beast Light, when looking at your proposals I just keep seeing the mid-90s Brewer Logo. Randy Johnson, Franco.... !?! RONNY BELLIARD?! That does remind me of an ongoing debate/joke I have with my Cub fan buddy that if Ryne Sandburg made it to the hall of fame then so should Ron Belliard. There is usually stats to prove this.
  24. I think I mentioned it to me father-in-law half in jest. We were talking, and I was like "you okay with me marrying your daughter." "Yep." "Alright, great" It all depends on your relationship. But I agree that declaring your intentions is better than asking for permission. It really shouldn't be an issue unless there is some sort of cultural or religious barrier.
  25. Yeah, it's sold out: http://frontline.purchasenow3.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase?agency=RIVERSIDE&orgid=3823&pid=6291811&roomid=5
