  1. If you want to know how unclutch this offense is, we have the 2nd worst offense in baseball in the 7th inning or later this year. Collectively our team has a .288 OBP in the 7th or later for the entire season.
  2. I wouldn't say the offense is back yet, either. We have a total of 2 earned runs tonight, pretty par for the course.
  3. How can I tie this into bunting = good....how can I tie this into bunting = good. Ah I got it! Go!
  4. Nice work, Drake. Can't wait to lose the game on a freaking balk.
  5. I don't have it. Somebody, I think it was Stout posted it at least once.
  6. Wow, Domingo. Did you forget that you're not the Jolly Green Giant?
  7. It's like a Brewer bullpen initiation thing that you must start an inning with a walk or HBP.
  8. I'm really hoping the Cubs blow 25-30M a year for 5 or 6 years to keep Arrieta. That would be fantastic.
  9. Matt Moore has pretty much been a train wreck ever since his NLCS meltdown last year. Not expecting any help tonight.
  10. Santana definitely slumping. Not a good looking AB for him.
  11. Was sort of hoping Susac would get himself tossed.
  12. I've posted the link a few times...but the Brewers tend to get a lot of bad calls from the home plate umpire. Yep. The 'it all evens out' theory has been pretty well disproven.
  13. He is the worst framer I've ever seen. Can't even imagine how many of the exact same pitches tonight are strike calls if Pina is back there.
  14. That 1-1 pitch from Drake was actually a beautifully placed strike according to both GameDay and Foxtrax. One of the things I'm really looking forward to about turning the zone over to machines is seeing pitches called strikes that actually are strikes but are never in a million years actually called that way by human umpires.
  15. I have seen enough of Andrew Susac in one night than I ever want to see in a Brewer uniform again. He is an absolutely terrible framer. This umpire sucks, but Susac makes everything look worse.
  16. I think calling balls and Strikes from behind the pitcher through an HDTV screen is a lot easier than calling them from behind the catcher. That being said I'm not saying they shouldn't get the calls right because they've been doing it a long time and they have a lot more training on what to look for. I for one am totally okay with the day they go to robots. I think it is too. Which is why having a guy standing behind the catcher calling it is a horrible way to do it. It was a horrible way to do it even before the days of HDTV.
  17. I never claim to ever be able to do as good of a job as any MLB manager or coach, because, hey, that's crazy. That said, if we had to, I say with much confidence that any shlub MLB fan sitting in his recliner in his underwear with a beer in one hand and a bag of chips on his lap could call roughly as accurate of a strike zone as these morons do. Provided of course he was calling a game he was impartial to.
  18. He threw 3-4 strikes that AB, not counting the fouls. Nothing he can do if they're not calling them. Then of course he gets a call on a ball way outside.
  19. Buxton should have been walking to the dugout long ago. I'm so sick of MLB umpires deciding outcomes of games because they're terrible at their job.
  20. Good God blue. That has plenty of the zone. What are you looking at?
  21. I wonder if any other reliever in baseball has ever had an ERA under 1 and an xFIP over 5 after 20+ innings.
  22. Took all of one start for me to get really annoyed with Susac.
  23. Short leash with Suter tonight, Counsell really must not have liked what he was seeing.
