    Props to Yost for batting Okha left-handed and throwing off the catcher by doing so and thus getting the interference..LOL! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Wow, I am loving how this game is looking already. Let's just not let it be one of those games where we jump out to a big lead and end up losing 10-6 like in St. Louis earlier this year.

    I know I am "gushing" Bill and Daron style right now, but Jeff Cirillo just amazes me. A year and a half ago, his career was considered over, he was too old, struggling with the Rockies and Padres, getting one last crack just to make the Brewers minor league system again. Now, fast forward to today, once again on the Brewers major league team, he just continues to pile up hits. .335 on the season. What is with this guy when he puts on a Brewers uniform? I don't know where our infield would be without him considering all the injuries.

    Would having Cirillo lead off be a crazy idea? I realize speed is ideal for a leadoff hitter, but heck, we don't have anyone with speed anyway. At least he gets on base with regularity.

    You sure wouldn't think so, listening to Bill and Darron hem and haw about how a pitcher won't get calls on the edge of the strikezone if they haven't been throwing strikes.

    Hart is not doing much lately to keep Jenkins firmly planted on the bench...

    At least he got out of THAT inning, but I think the last few outings we've seen more of the mediocre Tomo Okha. Probably best to see what Jackson or Villanueva can do next year rather than foot the $5-$6 million dollar bill to bring back Okha for one more season.

    Well, as bad as last inning was, he's only thrown 3 innings and 59 pitches, so I don't see it as much of a surprise. Maybe if we had runners in scoring position when he came up this inning, I could have seen him getting pulled, but with 2 outs and nobody on, I don't really see the sense in burning your first pinch hitter already.
