    Zack Jack is scaring me. Brand new fill-in pitchers don't just come in for us and be solid. We need to get Ben Hendrickson back in there before the sky falls on Zack. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

    Yeah, Jenkins hasn't been bad with RISP this year. That's not typical of his career, but this season his struggles haven't really been with runners in scoring position.

    I am almost positive that it just counts towards your OBP as making an out. They score it as if you never reached base.

    Urggghhhh...not a good AB by Miller. At least we tied it up, but no decision for Cappy and it always sucks to leave the bases loaded. If we end up winning this one, I'm going to have to guess that the ESPN title for the game will read something like, "Cards bullpen ruins Marquis gem."

    Jenks with the K against the lefty? That's utterly shocking... Please start Hart against lefties already, Ned....

    Well, they're bringing in a lefty here to face Jenkins, knowing it essentially puts a pitcher in the batters box. Part of me kind of wishes we would counter with Hart, but that's not going to happen.

    Capuano, though a little shaky, picks up his 13th quality start in 14 outings. What's the club record? 118 pitches is a bit high for my liking.... Now if we can only get him the win.

    Gameday says Clark left with an injured neck/shoulder. This is very troubling news for Yost as he MAY be FORCED to find PT for Hart in the near future.

    Stranded a leadoff double? Shocking. The icing is that now we get to lead off next inning with Capuano.

    I cannot even fathom why Jenkins still starts against lefties. He is next to worthless whenever he faces a lefty. Can Yost actually say with a straight face that he thinks Hart would do worse than .150 (or whatever Jenkins is) against lefties? Bases loaded, one out, nothing. Same old crap, and we sink further south of .500.
