To me, between Mitchell just nonchalantly walking back to the dugout rather than challenging a clear ball on a 3-2 count in the 9th, Turang getting a full day off with no usage despite a clear PH opportunity for him, and Vaughn moving to 3rd in the later innings, this was as much of a “punt” game as I’ve seen from the Brewers all season. Hopefully this won’t be the case in the next game and Henderson gives us a good return.

Can someone explain why Greg Jones possibly got another stint with this club on the 40? We literally just wanted the worst , most expendable player we could find so we wouldn’t have any qualms about DFAing him next week?

Have you seen Durbin’s turnaround? And hey, still not saying we lost it, certainly. Still love the trade. Just saying 6 weeks in was probably a little early to draw final conclusions. And it’s probably still too early.

I’m sorry I’m trying to not to jump the gun on expectations but Lara is going to be a hard guy to keep out of the lineup. Even his outs are hard earned for the pitcher. It’s his MLB debut and he’s still not getting over anxious and chasing a 3-2 pitch. You can’t platoon matchup against him and he can run and play defense. He’s just looks good at almost everything you’d want.
