    I have defended this deal and will continue to do so because the risk/reward and cost effectiveness involved, However, I really hope the Brewers see something in Pratt’s bat that we don’t, or he looks like Joey Ortiz 2.0. He just hasn’t hit even minor league pitching above the A ball level. Like, at all. It's obviously early, and he’s still 21. Still, seeing him just look completely overmatched against AAA pitching isn’t a great sign for his chances against big league pitching.

    Arnold needs to do a little better job filling out the back of the roster. I realize our resources are limited, but we need to be able to cover a little better when we have injuries. Contending teams need to be able to fill in better than Rengifo and Matos.

    I love that he’s a switch hitter, too. Just a little too lefty heavy on this current roster. Too easily neutralized by LHP.

    I realize he isn’t coming up anytime soon but I really believe that 18 year old Jesus Made would be better than most of our current bench options.

    We were fortunate to get the 1 year extension done with Watson when we did to at least buy us another season with him. When Alec Pierce is getting almost 30M AAV, I just don’t think Watson is going to be in our budget.

    I would have been absolutely fine with punting this one today if Murphy hadn’t really pooched one away yesterday.
