    Every so often, Murph has a game where it seems like he completely punts. Not like actively tries to throw the game, but completely disconnects from doing anything to actively trying to win it to the point where I almost ask if there is some sort of purpose or strategy behind it.

    No, I do in fact though expect the coaching staff to have a better feel for a potential major personnel situation than the general public has, so they can make potential moves in anticipation of it. Or you know, at least not publicity comment like you do know if you in fact have no idea.

    The good news is this isn’t like losing Bijan Robinson or even Derrick Henry, Jacobs looked kind of washed at various points last season. The bad news is they really didn’t do anything to address this possibility, unless you think Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson are going to be the answer.

    I was waiting for him to blow it and be out of challenges entirely. It’s a little frustrating that an organization that is so well run, so structured, and so focused on all the small details that make them great from the bottom to the top of the organization has seemingly no structure at all for their ABS challenge system.

    Literally zero reason for that challenge. It’s the 3rd freaking inning, there’s no one on base and it’s a 1-1 count. For the love of God, Gary.

    Every time a pitcher gives up a run, Sanchez always incorrectly challenges the very next borderline pitch that he sees and makes the situation worse.

    Hamilton didn’t challenge a pitch he should have challenged and then swung at another pitch that would have also been Ball 4.

    I know people hate this comparison, but he really profiles higher similarly to Sproat except with more experience.

    Nobody hates May. They hate that the Brewers gave up a couple really nice prospects for a rental, and the rental quite frankly hasn’t performed nearly well enough to change anyone’s mind about it. That's it.

    Those two brutal ABs by Yelich and Sanchez are why Erickson (correctly) risked sending Mitchell with nobody out.
