  1. We regularly bring in fast food.
  2. I just got home from Tuesday ball and talked to the wife. I want to change my answer to "In".
  3. He was in a gray A's (I'm assuming Henderson) jersey last night. I saw that too... I assumed it was a Fingers jersey or something Brewers related since he seems like the ultimate Crew diehard. I just called out to the wife down the hallway. Me - "Wow, The Doorman is wearing an Oakland jersey today" Wife shouting back within a second - "Yeah, he's probably wearing a Rickey Henderson jersey" I married well.
  4. I'm in. I wasn't able to check BF.net for a bit.
  5. 11-16, if they are lucky.
  6. As long as we don't go out and sign another band aid this offseason, it doesn't matter whether we have a protected pick.
  7. I think it is a scouting problem. Or at least a problem with the FO putting value into the wrong things. Melvin clearly knows how to properly evaluate hitters. I think it's fair to say at this point that he can't pick a pitcher unless they have already picked up Cy votes. I think it's time to eliminate everyone below DM and get a new group in here.
  8. In an exciting development, Estrada changed his at bat music to "Sail" by Awolnation. We're also enjoying the opportunity to sit in row three just at the edge of the infield dirt at third. Things look odd from this angle.
  9. It would involve trading players when they are still good and still have a year or two left. I don't think MA or DM have it in them.
  10. Good job wasting that pitch hitter. I'd leave Schaffer in to play center. I don't like any of our other PHers.
  11. As will the fans at Miller Park if this season continues in the downward spiral it is currently on. The Brewers are already down 116,000 fans compared with last year, over 5,000 per game, the 3rd largest drop in MLB. Attendance will likely wind up around 2.5 million unless they somehow get back into the race by August. I doubt there will be any money for free agents this winter. And that's counting people like me. I have two tickets to all 3 games of this series. They are still in the closet and will not be used.
  12. The problem is that the "bottom of our lineup" is usually 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9.
  13. *cough* Gast is a LHP *cough* But I do agree with lowering Weeks at bats. Maybe 0-Dodgers would be a good start.
  14. Why? All he does is get hits. He doesn't work hard before the game or take walks. [/blue]
  15. I have two full season tickets for the first row in the right field bleachers. I share these with my parents. With my dad slowly passing away, they are no longer able to go. I have a new job that requires a lot of time during the week. It is becoming impossible to attend all of the games during the week. My wife and I are simply exhausted at the end of a homestand. I just looked at selling some tickets on Stub Hub. Between them and MLB, I would be losing almost 25% of my asking price. I'd rather just sell it to people here who enjoy the game at that reduced cost. If there is any game outside of Sundays that people would like to purchase (starting with this Tuesday where Greinke is scheduled to pitch), feel free to ask me. All I ask is for a reasonable offer. I can mail them, meet you in person, or leave them at will call. You also have to promise to behave yourself and not do anything to make Ted (our usher) upset.
  16. If 3.49 ERA, 1.8 BB/9IP, 6.1 K/9IP, and a 1.0 WAR in 8 games is average, I don't know what to say. In the 6 games he's started and we've lost, we have a total of 6 runs. Even including those games, the Brewers average 4.92 runs a game. If the Brewers had scored 4.92 runs in every one of Lohse's starts, he would be 7-1. I would gladly take 5 Kyle Lohse production type pitchers. On Topic, I can't wait to get a new manager. Hopefully he is hired by a new GM that can obtain those pitchers when they still have 5+ years of team control left.
  17. Spoiler Alert for those that haven't watched yet: Cardinals win.
  18. Yes to C and 2B. I've played all positions before at some point, I'm just not that good at inseam 3B anymore and have the range of an emergency SS. I can catch in the OF but get bored and start playing with dandelions.
  19. Sounds good. I just like playing anywhere in the field, but know I may need to DH at some point.
  20. I had the same thing happen when I was umping little league. It hurt like the dickens and I couldn't talk for the rest of the game. I can't imagine what that is like at 90 mph.
  21. To be fair, Sheets should have 20 if we had anyone that could hit in 04.
