  1. A normal 5 game LDS: 2 days at Division winner, 1 travel day, 2 days at WC, 1 travel day, 1 day at Division winner = 8 days to play the series 2012 only: 1 day to play the WC game, 1 travel day, 2 days at WC, 1 travel day, 3 days at Division winner = 8 days to play the series and add the WC game
  2. [blue]Stupid replacement umpires[/blue]
  3. I know I want the tickets if they are still charging the $25. I'll pick it up personally and save them the actual shipping costs.
  4. No. Well, kind of yes. He was on the DL when the Braves visited. It was just like old times. He was throwing a bit in the RF corner before the game. Melvin came down to the field and the they talked like two old friends catching up.
  5. The joke was finishing only 8th in Cy Young that year. Congrats Sheets. As someone who became a ticket holder in '01, you will always remain my favorite Brewers pitcher of all time.
  6. Very much agree. Add to the list cheerleaders, discount double checks, and the wave.
  7. No, they secured a non-winning season by being no-no'ed. If they win out, they will have a .500 record.
  8. It's a Cincy thing that probably spread to Pitt.
  9. Not the whole postseason. In the NLDS (08 and 11), (iirc) for Game 6 of the NLCS, and I imagine for any WC game my seat is sold to a lottery winner. Last year the brand new 20-game pack next to me was offered his seats for the NLDS as "extra" seats he could buy. I got extra seats in Row 8 of the 2nd deck.
  10. I'm a full season ticket holder since '02 and I don't even get my same level.
  11. I know it's a little late, but what is the purpose of Aoki's finger stache routine?
  12. I just went to pay for our tickets. They gave me Section 204, Row 1, Seat 5. Typical that I get bumped up one level so they can sell my full season seat to the at large crowd. They gave my mother Section 204, Row 1, Seat 7. Why are we not next to each other? I will call them tomorrow to get this fixed. Otherwise I will just sit in 6 and make the other sucker sit in 5.
  13. There were probably more Full Season tickets sold this year because of the success from last year.
  14. Don't forget that a tiebreaker game counts as 163 of the season. So we could have an extra game (or two) to set the record.
  15. We can also get beaned more than the other guys too!
  16. On Friday 2 fifty year old women sat next to us. One talked all pre-game to her friend about how "nice" her 20 game pack was (in another part of the stadium) and how many games she comes to every year. At the start of the game, her friend asked about Fiers. She responded that she had never heard of him and he must be a new player.
  17. [blue]He took steroids and got off on a technicality![/blue]
  18. A deep fly ball or an error would also result in a run scoring. If the infield is back, a ground ball has a high chance of scoring a run. If the infield is in, the rate of hits increases. And a hit increases the odds of later runs.
