This feels like a game where we lose 1-0 on a solo home run by one of these completely unknown Cubs.

As sad as it is, Taylor probably gives you a better chance to win at this point. I know that’s not why he’s starting over Yelich, but it’s reality.

We're looking at 3 innings max from this guy. More than likely 2. So how is the rest of the Cubs bullpen these days?

Reds down 8-2 now in the 6th. Would be great to see them lose tonight and then have to head to Atlanta for three games.

How about Freddy for 7 and Ashby for 7 and we have nice, stress-free night not having to worry about the bullpen coming in at all.

Ashby on Tuesday on normal rest makes sense. Burnes and Woodruff would go on Wednesday and Thursday on normal rest and then we would probably be looking at Lindblom on Friday. Not sure why they would have pulled Lindblom early yesterday though if they planned on pitching him on normal rest on Friday so who knows.

Good. I could use a day off after this weekend and so could the Brewers pitching staff.

This is a good week to pick up a couple of games on the Reds as our schedule is a lot easier. That being said, nothing is a guarantee right now given our horrific bullpen situation. Hopefully we have a few blowout wins in us so we don't have to rely on the bullpen.
