  1. Someone mentioned it in another thread somewhere but it sounds like he's currently working on obtaining a Visa to work in the Unites States.
  2. David Hamilton breaks up a no hitter in the 9th with a homerun.
  3. Mahle is pitching a gem but there’s always the possibility that the Reds bullpen will come in and blow it.
  4. It’ll be Anderson in game one and Ashby in game two.
  5. I thought we were playing really good up until about early to mid-August. We took 3 of 4 in LA against the Dodgers and then the collapse happened shortly afterward. But yeah, not a fun year to re-live.
  6. Frelick with his first professional HR. Also, Valerio sure has been a joy to follow all year. Guy can just flat out hit.
  7. Game is delayed. Why in the world does Pittsburgh get so much rain and why didn’t they put a retractable roof on that stadium?
  8. I can’t help but remember 2014 when we had a lead in the division in August and then we completely flopped the rest of the way and didn’t even finish .500 if I remember correctly. We didn’t have nearly the lead we have now but those things are hard to forget.
  9. Might as well go with the same lineup that just put up 17 runs the day before.
  10. We'd probably have little trouble trading Wong in the offseason if they wanted to go that route. Not sure what kind of contract Escobar would be looking for though.
  11. And he plays in Milwaukee and the other two play in Philly and LA.
  12. Woodruff will be a free agent when he's around 31 or 32 years old. I just don't see the Brewers throwing big money at him at that age. The question for me would be do you trade him even if we are still competitive in a couple years or ride it out until the end like we did with Prince. That's going to be a tough decision. Either way, I'll be sad to see him go.
  13. Well what would make it a waste is if Burnes goes out there for a couple innings, game gets delayed and then the bullpen comes in and ultimately loses the game. I would definitely call that a wasted start.
  14. Man I would really hate to waste a Burnes start tonight and only see him go a couple innings. Hopefully the weather holds off.
  15. By my count, Hader should be back tomorrow or Friday assuming he's cleared. The last player on COVID IL from the bullpen would be Gustave. Things are looking up in that regard.
  16. Just a guess but I'm thinking Topa up and Curtiss to the IL.
