Yeah and didn’t the Rangers spend a bunch of money on offense last offseason? You’d think they’d be willing to give up the farm to get an elite pitcher like Burnes.
I know it’s hard to sweep 3 games series let alone 4 gamers, but it almost seems like a must at this point. The Reds are awful and we’ve got Woody and Burnes both going in this series. Time to take care of business.
Frelick is putting up some ridiculous numbers in Nashville and the sample size is not so small anymore. It's really a shame he's not doing this in Milwaukee.
Nashville’s magic number to clinch the division is 7 and they are facing one of the worst teams in all of AAA this week. I’m liking their chances of getting this thing done.
Didn’t realize the Brewers only have 16 games left. I would think it’ll take an absolute minimum of 10 wins, maybe 11 or 12 to sneak past Philly or San Diego.
For some reason, I thought Cole was really struggling this year but when you look at his numbers that’s obviously not the case. Maybe he struggled early in the year?
Probably best for both parties to just move on in the offseason. The Brewers obviously have no confidence in him at this point so just trade him and be done with it.
Not very often Frelick strikes out twice in the same game but he did extend his on base streak. Wiemer with a couple more walks tonight as his strikeout to walk ratio has greatly improved since his promotion to AAA.
Starting to get a little frustrated with Mitchell at this point. He had about 6 very hittable pitches in his last AB and fouled away all of them. Can we stop the shenanigans and call up Frelick or Wiemer?
