I hate every single Final 4 team; I going to dread next weekend. Kentucky just recruits a bunch of one and dones; an all star team if you will Louisville because of Rick Pitino Ohio St because they are Ohio State Kansas because they should have done this last year when it actually mattered to me A true blue blood tournament this year and not especially exciting; Kentucky will have to choke to lose this This tournament has had a huge lack of close and exciting games; pretty disappointing

Is there any good reason that Jon Brockman is on the active roster and Jon Leuer isn't? Is Leuer hurt? If not there is no reason to give a guy like Brockman minutes instead of Leuer who I hope is in the long term plans. Leuer must be in the dog house for something

The only solace I take from that game is UW played very well and lost to a very good team. But man that game was there for the taking. Just find a way to get in the lane and kick it out; our guys were open the whole game. Frustrating end for Taylor despite the good game; I have no idea who will play the point next year

I will be at Buffalo Wild Wings from 10:30 AM on Friday until about 11 PM with a group of 10-15 other guys. It is a great time watching all the games; playing poker, and of course eating and drinking. It is a blast; I think it was about $100 a head last year when the tab was totaled -
This seems like an Eh trade to me as well. Just hoping for a one year fix similar to the way Salmons played when he was traded to the Bucks 2 years ago. Hope to catch lightning in a bottle. This probably does improve the team this year; Jackson and Bogut weren't playing anyway. However this does nothing to address the Bucks long term issues. And I have no idea how Skiles is not going to rip Monta's head off when he doesn't play D.

Melo being out significantly improves UW's chance of making it out of the bracket. Obviously they need to win 2 this weekend to get to Syracuse but Cuse is a lot less daunting without Melo in there. It also helps me favorite 3 seed; Florida State. I had FSU beating Cuse anyways.

Not having Bogut at C also really kills the defense. Defense has been the least of my concerns for the Bucks. The overall lack of athletic ability, lack of offensive playmakers, and no backup C are the reasons for the Bucks downfall. They have put a little streak together again and now have the honor of being the #8 seed and getting spanked by CHI or MIA and then getting a high teens draft pick. This streak almost certainly takes blowing up the team out of the question as Kohl/Hammond would surely like to make the playoffs if they have a decent chance

Holy Rob Wilson; he is having the best game of his career and it isn't even close If he keeps this up I might have to reconsider my attitude towards Bucky in the NCAA tourney

It sounds like he has told other players the "real story". Sooner or later one of them is going to say something and that will eventually force Braun to say something

If you are going the top 68 overall teams; I have a hard time believing that the conference winners in say the bottom 10 conferences are actually going to be considered. I don't care that Western Kentucky is in the field and I wouldn't rather see Arizona or someone like that. Those middling Big 6 conference teams were given ample opportunities against good teams to get wins and they didn't. Just because these smaller schools beat the teams on there schedule shouldn't be a negative. Besides these smaller schools are given no opportunities to improve there SOS or RPI because they only good teams they will play in NC will be on the road and it is tough as hell to win on the road even for the big boys. I like seeing a representative from every league in the tournament and if it were changed to the Top 68 then I think the deck would be stacked pretty heavily against them other than the usual 10 or so mid majors that normally make it.

Philly I understand, but why do you think that about St. Louis? Me and 5 buddies go see the Brewers somewhere every year and it's the Cardinal trip this year, so just curious if you know something or whatever. We got some smack in Boston and LA, but just the usual stuff. Never felt threatened or anything, though we said very little in reply. I don't get the need for the insults personally, but thats how it goes unfortunately. STL only because how the season ended last year. I don't think I could take all the ribbing.

There are probably only a handful of places I would be wary of wearing Brewers gear. STL and PHI are the two places I just wouldn't want to hassle with. Perhaps CHI could be thrown in there too.

Someone has actually indicated that they might want to eliminate the auto bids? That truly would be the dumbest thing I have ever heard and the problems with the BCS would pale in comparison to the joke the BBALL tourney would be without autobids. Yeah the tournament would be realy exciting filling out the fields with Big 6 teams finishing below .500 in conference. The underdog truly is what makes March Madness so unique. The next 5 days are a great time in college hoops; only topped by next weekend. I can't wait; I have next Thu and Fri off to watch the games.

The whole offense has been pretty underwhelming thus far. Only 3 days in so far and its not like it has any bearing on how the offense will be come April anyways

Snow looks to be about wrapped up in FDL. weather.com says we have gotten 4 inches but it looks like more than that. It also says we are suppose to get another 2-4 inches but the radar doesn't look like it will provide much more snow

While not baseball related the Saints Bountygate seems to be the new controversy do jour. Rewarding players for causing injury to other players is a little bit more serious than PeeGate

At least Braun is yesterday's news now. There is a brand new scandal to report on and that one is much worse than Braun "beating the system." Things have already died down quite a bit; I am sure when games start it will pick up again though

The good news is the reversal of home games in the divisional round only applies to this year I believe. In future years they will have more flexibility in scheduling to revery back to the higher seed getting the first home games. That being said I am not sure how switching it this year actually saves on travel times.

The lower seed getting the first two home games in the Divisional round is a horrible idea. Even though the higher seed gets 3 home games the homefield advantage IMO is significantly diminished if Games 1-2 are on the road

The 2011 Season Doesn't Feel The Same Anymore

Honestly I would have been content with the 2011 season if it had finished any other way besides losing to STL and then STL going on to win the WS. I would even been pretty content if TEX had just beaten STL. It still was an awesome season and the best Brewers experience of my lifetime but to lose to STL did dampen things a bit. I imagine this is how Bears fans felt in 2010/2011. -
