    Into what? The fact he didn't get called up? Green got called up instead? We have Mark Kotsay on our team when Gamel is more than likely a better hitter. Unless the organization has something against him I see no reason Gamel shouldn't at least be up on the bench. You're right, Kotsay's dead meat at this point. He can't hit major league pitching. I, for one, don't want to see him pinch-hit during the postseason. (I tried to select the deepest shade of blue possible.)

    This is really odd. It makes no sense that he would be "sending a message" to the front office - they obviously know that it's going to cost a lot of money to keep him in Milwaukee. He's also being paid handsomely this year, so there's no reason to be bitter about anything. I'm perplexed.

    I get the sense that most ballplayers don't evaluate their teammates purely on sabermetric output. This line of thinking annoys me with regard to Betancourt as well. I remember during spring training there were some quotes from Greinke that were complimentary of Yuni and some of the reactions around here were to the effect of "oh, he's just pretending to be nice, I'll bet he really hates playing with Yuni." http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif Do you think Braun is sick of watching Mark Kotsay?
