  1. Ha, I remember reading that exact information on the DOT web site at least three years ago, maybe four-five years ago. Pretty long wait for what probably amounts to little more than a SQL query you could write in 15 seconds. The blazing speed of government....
  2. Information on this year's fees: $230 team fee / 12 players = $19.17 per 10 game balls $44.88 / 12 players = $3.74 per Player fee (resident and non-res are same) = $15.00 per Total = $37.91 per I've already paid the team fee and purchased the balls, I will eventually pay all player fees with a single check at the same time I turn in player cards. We'll get player cards filled out and square up on fees the first few practices. Post here or shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
  3. Geez, take your time a bit more in the corner there, Corey.
  4. Gonna change the thread title, I think we're in good shape with the roster. Here's how I've got it.... 5. Nick, when we started up the team ~5 years ago, pretty much everyone got one of these shirts: http://www.cafepress.com/bfdotnet.244417742. Overtime, we've added players that haven't gotten the matching shirt and/or some with shirts no longer wear them. We're probably due to revamp the uni situation, but I don't know that we'll get to it this year. If you're interested in that shirt, go for it (blue or black sleeves) but it's totally optional. You'd fit right in with any typical three-quarter sleeve softball shirt, especially with blue or black sleeves. Or any Brewers gear. Failing that, anything will do. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

  7. First time in my life I've ever rooted for Duke. Nicely done, Blue Devils. Go cry Butler, too bad this isn't horseshoes or hand-grenades. I hope Brad Stevens isn't a hometown discount kindof guy, would love to see him out of the Horizon league for the greener pastures of some bigtime program.

  9. Grilling out in the lot before games, and attending many games started by Gallardo, Bush, Parra, Narveson, or Villy... and almost none started by Suppan, Wolf, or Davis.
  10. Ando, a couple absences over the course of the ~10 week season are totally understandable. I will count you in!
  11. We play Thursday nights. Last year, I believe game times were 6:45, 7:45, and 8:45. The location is Sijan Field in Bay View. (Roughly Oklahoma and Kinnickinnic.) I don't have a schedule yet, but we usually start the first week in May and play about 10 weeks. I don't have the exact number on how much individual fees will be, but it should be somewhere around $35 a person. We (intentionally) don't have an outside sponsor, just the BF.Net affiliation, so players cover a little extra dues than maybe is normal.
  12. What works best for you guys? Earliest I could do is 5:45. I'm still in even if it's just the three of us!
  13. I know some BF.NET members just lurk in this forum occassionally, so I wanted to create a separate thread to grab anyone's attention that might be interested. We're up to around a dozen guys at this point, would have room for 1-2 more. Post any questions you might have or feel free to PM me.
  14. Tim, I'm all for it. Let us know what he says.
  15. What do you think, should we try to get together after work tomorrow? The weather looks pretty nice. How many guys could make it? I know it's short notice, but if we could get a handful together for an unofficial practice I'd be all for it. I was thinking Hales Corners Park, but I'm open to suggestion.... EDIT: It's on like donkey kong. I'll try to send out some text messages to those I have in my phone in case anyone isn't seeing this. I think Houle said he'd do the same. As of now, it's just him, Beeks, and me. A couple more would be great!
  16. Hot Tob Time Machine should have been a much better movie than it was.
  17. And just a general update, I know you're anxious to know dates of first games and things like that. Jamie and I couldn't meet up yesterday to exchange the paperwork he has, if we can't meet up this evening before I head out of town for the weekend, then hopefully first thing next week I'll get that information and have more details.
  18. Hey Nick, welcome to Brewerfan.Net and BF.Net softball! Glad to have you on board. Here's how I see our roster at present: Regulars: 01 Iron Chef Zak 02 Houlie Josh 03 Beeks Chris 04 Nullbyte Tim 05 Razzzor Nick 06 Valpo Matt 07 Radman Matt 08 Happy 09 Juddy 10 Razzzor cousin 11 FireNick Subs: Brewerjamie Baldkin Am I missing anyone? Should we shoot for a roster of 13 regulars? We could contact some of the other guys who've played with us in years past, like Brewer Fever and Tony (was it chadomac? or rightomac?). Any of you have more recruits....?
  19. I've hated Butler before, but never as much as tonight. How I wish I could punch Brad Stevens right in his smug little face with every ounce of strength I've got. The whole lot of arrogant Butler nation can get bent.
  20. Soon, hopefully tomorrow, I'll get all the information from Jaime that he has. Glad to see that Happy is on the team. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif With him and Juddy, we're at 9 guys. Razzzor, is your cousin in for sure? Everyone, how can we get a few more guys on the team? How soon should we have our first practice? Next Tuesday/Wednesday is supposed to be nice with highs near 60, maybe we could get together after work to throw the ball around, hit a little, shake the rust off?
  21. "Don't you hate pants...?!!" http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/object/621/88/n2204920024_27221.jpg
  22. Doug Davis. Seen his schtick once, no interest in ever seeing it again.
  23. Welcome back, Radman. Here's how I see the current roster, we could definitely use a few more playas.... Confirmed 01 Iron Chef Zak 02 Houlie Josh 03 Beeks Chris 04 Nullbyte Tim 05 Razzzor Nick 06 Valpo Matt 07 Radman Matt Juddy has told both me and Josh to put him down, so that's 08. If Razzor's cousin is in, excellent, that's 09. If we hear from Happy, that's 10. I think we'd want to be at 12-13 confirmed players. I have Jamie and Baldkin down as possible alternates. Missing anyone?
  24. Why are contact lenses "out the window"? I think he just wants to be able to sing to himself, "I wear my eyeglasses at night, so I can, so I can...."
  25. Not to derail the thread, but I've always wondered if sports teams would one day start instituting a more precisely graduated pricing system for their seats. It's one thing in "olden days" to be limited to rigid pricing organized into vast sections, but with modern ticketing technology you'd think they could cut through the riculousness of people sitting just feet apart with vastly different face value tickets.
