  1. I think Jim said he would be throwing in an Instructional League game or 2.
  2. http://www.bertdecker.com/photos/uncategorized/wheels_off_jpeg.jpg http://www.yuwantitwhen.com/blog/wp-content/images/train_wreck1.jpg
  3. Do they come with a time machine? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. I had the radio on and the TV on mute, and I was wondering whether I should give up being a sports fan when the Lions and Phillies took the lead within seconds of each other. It was too perfect.
  5. Look, if the Astros don't win a couple games because fans are cheering for the Cubs, they don't deserve the WC anyway. Yes, it's unfortunate that it had to work out this way, but you make the best of what you have.
  6. Putting aside for the moment the question of whether or not Kremblas would be good in Milwaukee, clearly the Brewers did not see that happening, and since that's the case, you might as well not keep him in a dead end position there, especially if they do want to move Money up with the kids. Hopefully Frank gets a shot somewhere else, I'm sure he deserves it.

  10. I demand a running thermometer!
  11. For all the discussion of shifting Hardy, I would be shocked if he agrees. Doug himself as stated that Hardy wouldn't do it (and why would he?).
  12. Al, this may blow your mind, but there's also the possibility that in getting to the game, maybe you don't have time to eat before going inside. And if you don't want to sit at your car cramming down whatever it is you're eating, it's sure going to be a heck of a lot longer than three hours from the time you get close to the park til the time you leave.
  13. I heard (during/before the game maybe?) that he will not pitch until their last series vs. Houston.
  14. One of the latest Brewers.com articles stated that it will not be til after the MLB season is over, for whatever reason.
  15. On the surface most of it is no different than Opera or FF. The big difference is the process per tab, and the new JS engine, although I fully expect the next iteration of the various browsers to approach its speed anyway. I don't see any compelling reason to switch from Opera, but it'll be interesting to see what Google does with their apps now that they have their own browser.
  16. can you go post without calling someone an idiot or something like "fattie albert" sorry mods, but its kind of annoying. And if it costs me a strike for calling someone out on it, I'll take it. No, you're right on the money. Calling one of the best players in the history of the game "Fattie" is juvenile.
  17. Why in the world would a major newspaper hire someone who's "still learning the rules"??
  18. Jumping to unread = teh awesome. I've been waiting for Yuku to get that.
  19. Actually, someone at ESPN (Stark? Olney?) had an article recently that pointed out Webb has actually been at least as good as CC.
  20. You mean besides Sutcliffe?
  21. In this case, a response from Howard made it clear management was doing their job all weekend, and Tom "gets it" now. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  22. I take it this was in a personal email exchange with the two of you? That's correct, and I was equally dumbfounded. He was much more apologetic in a following email after I told him he was ridiculous, but I still don't think he would be remorseful if he hadn't been called out.
  23. You can't fight irrefutable logic like this: "That person sent an e-mail to my bosses, trying to cause harm for me in my job. Then, when I turn the tables on him and let people know that he tried to cause me harm in my job, I'm the bad guy? Wow. I guess you live on a one-way street."
