Funny, a lot of people were saying that last night here in Houston about the TBS crew that they were pro Red Sox. I laughed, because I know that BA wouldn't do that. All about inference, I guess.

Either having a AAA or MLB team, the current stadium will not do. As I said in previous posts, there have been discussions and conversations about a new stadium. It seems like it will happen, just a matter of when and who is paying for it.

It was mediocre for AA. There’s going to have to be improvements. In my 6 years in SA, I went to probably 20 Missions games. The location of the stadium sucks. It’s on the SW side of town and most of the population is on the N/NE/NW sides of town. Downtown would be best, but the city doesn’t want to use public $$ for a new stadium.

It is awful. There will be a new stadium built. Just a matter of when. I lived in SA for 6 years, now live in Houston and will be making plans to check out games next summer. I’m absolutely pumped that they’re in SA.

Vegas already has an NHL team as of this year...so yeah, Austin Houston needs a hockey team before Austin.

Thirded. He just needed to get it out of his system I guess. I will just add that a) I totally get trwi7's joke about Braun at 3B. It wasn't being a troll. It was an old board joke. b) Sometimes, enough is enough. You don't like something, fine. Say so and move on. It's not just this thread - it happens all the time. And it ruins the experience for everyone else as two people exchange 20 posts about a subject that has nothing to do with the thread. c) Remember, you're never as funny in print as you are in your head. A joke or a sarcasm on a message board doesn't always work right. I'm not saying don't use sarcasm. I laughed at trwi7's Braun-to-3B joke. But be wary. It can just come across wrong - often times simply mean or condescending. d) be polite. It really does work. Thank you. Amen. -
