  1. My guess is most, if not all of them. Definitely not just 1 or 2 teams.
  2. They're so tough. I'm in Houston. Been watching Sampson and this team for a while. Last year, they made the Final Four with same kind of guys. Defense and rebounding. It's amazing and fun to watch. They really dominated Arizona from the get-go last night. It's going to be a great game tomorrow night and I really hope they win.
  3. Boy, oh boy. This should be fun. 1). Grew up in Janesville/Mayville, and then lived in Sheboygan from 2004-2008. Currently reside in a suburb of Houston. 2). 44 3). Man….it’s been a while. I think it was when I lived out in the Pacific NW sometime between 2001-2004. I needed to keep up with my Brewers brethren. Edit: I checked my profile and I joined on April 15th, 2006. Seems like it’s been longer. Damn. 4). Church League Softball 5). Favorite current Brewer is Hader. Favorite player….that’s tough. I was a part of the Rob Deer fan club in ‘87, so he carries a special place in my heart. Underrated Brewer? Charlie O’Brien. 6). I follow lots of Astros fans on Twitter, and a few Brewer Fans. I’d love to follow more. I’m @craigharmann on Twitter. 7). I teach private music lessons. I’m a husband and dad to 2 beautiful girls. That’s plenty to take up my time! 8). My favorite part has to be a 1A and 1B. While it’s been a while since I’ve been on here, and definitely haven’t posted as much as I should have over the past 10ish years, the people are what make this place. 1B would have to be Woah Solvdd. That just makes me smile every time I go back to it.
  4. I’d rather them be down to 0, if we’re not in it.
  5. Exactly. I live in Houston. The feelings from fans here (I’m not a fan, just a casual observer of the train wreck) is good riddance to him. I’m shocked that the Texans got the return for him, but honestly, I’m not surprised he got the contract he got. It’s gross and absolutely out of bounds, but people think he’s got talent and even after sitting out one year (and will be out for an undetermined period this upcoming season), he’ll pick up where he left off. I’m skeptical.
  6. And would Mark and the Brewers be willing to commit for 1 year? That’s essentially what this contract for Correa will be. He wanted 10/350+. Because of his back, there were concerns and he didn’t get it. So he’s betting on himself. If he stays healthy, continues to play elite D and leads the Twins to the playoffs, he’s opting out and getting his big payday. If not, 3/105 keeps his family very well set.
  7. I said it. I’ll stand by it. Is he really good? Absolutely. But having #12 and the unspoken connection between the two definitely helps. Rodgers is a no doubt Hall of Famer. Carr is a decent, no great NFL QB. Time will tell to see if he continues to be elite, great, or just a guy. All of the WR who have left GB in the past 20+ years have been just a guy in their time outside of GB.
  8. That's what I'm hoping for. WR at 22 and then DL or LB at 28. Then 2nd round, go with an OL and maybe a TE or another WR. But I'm not an NFL GM. So, it will most definitely be fun to see what comes.
  9. This is what I'm most curious about. The dropoff in QB play from Rodgers to Carr is immense. Of course, I saw on Twitter the "but Carr was Adams's college QB!". Cool. Carr also needs an O line and a scheme to help him attempt to get the ball to Adams. I don't think that Adams will have as good of a season at any point in Vegas as he did in GB.
  10. I started delivering Door Dash last week because we needed the money. About half of the orders don't include a tip. Which is somewhat surprising, because you would think if you're paying to have someone go pick up your Taco Bell and drive it to your house, you would throw them a little extra for gas, or travel, or whatever. I'm guessing they just assume that it's part of their extra fee they pay to get it delivered. But it's not.
  11. This. Totally this. I’ve been following the team from a distance, since I’m living in Houston and cheering for the Astros as my AL team. But you never forget your first love. The way these last 4 years have come together, it’s been amazing to watch. And the team is so much fun. The pitching front to back is probably the best in baseball and the timely, clutch hits are awesome. I’d love to see an Astros/Brewers WS, but honestly, most importantly, I want to see the Brewers back in the WS, since I was 5 when they were there the last time. And I want to see them win it this time.
  12. I'm not so sure on that. Favre waffled on retirement for about 5 years before he did it the first time. I appreciate Aaron's honesty and candor. I didn't quite agree with everything he said, but I can understand his perspective. I'm looking forward to this season, and will pay far more attention than I have in the past, just because it could likely be the last season we see #12 in the green and gold. And if we get more, great. I'm going to soak this season in.
  13. I like and subscribe completely to this line of thinking. May actually get me to go back to visit Wisconsin for the first time since I escaped Sheboygan in 2008.
  14. Growing up in Janesville and then moving to Mayville when I was in 6th grade, the Bucks were my team. Jordan was always my guy, but the Bucks were my team. I hadn't really followed them super closely in years, but watching the end of the game and the celebration made me smile. Even though I'm a Texan now, Wisconsin always has and will have a special place in my heart. I'm not only happy for the team, but for the city and the state. What a great night last night!
  15. I laughed way too hard at this I needed this today. Thank you You're welcome. It came quite quickly to my brain. Pretty much everytime I saw Arcia's name, "Trumpets blare" came to my head.
  16. Trumpets have stopped blaring and are now playing taps.
  17. I'm in Houston. JJ being released was a no brainer. The team is a dumpster fire on steroids. My heart wants JJ back home in Green Bay, but I really think he's going to land in Pittsburgh. Realistically, though, those are the 2 teams that make the most sense for him, since he's getting to choose where he goes.
  18. I'm thinking the Sox are down in part, due to Reinsdorf's choice for manager. That will be interesting to see. And potentially a train wreck. That was interesting. San Diego makes all those moves and still doesn't come within seven games of first? That's rough. Same with the White Sox. San Diego was 6 GB last year in a 60 game season (equivalent of 16.2 GB in a 162 game season), so they have them making up some ground, but the Dodgers adding Bauer certainly didn't help. The White Sox arguably overachieved last year, but I am a little more surprised by their projections. Either way, it's a good reminder that winning the offseason doesn't necessarily mean winning the regular season. That said, winning on paper doesn't either, but I like where we stand! Let's add some more!
  19. YES!!!! Captain Lou!!!! Aaahhh the memories.... Can't believe it took 25 posts to get to Lou Palsmo.
  20. With over $18 million earned, I guess he’s needing a GoFundMe. https://www.google.com/amp/s/budgetandinvest.com/2019/05/15/michael-fiers-net-worth/amp/
  21. The splits of 2017 for the Astros were crazy. I live in Houston. They were a far better road team than a home team, where they were "cheating". For what it's worth. Thee article linked below discusses the contents of the MLB report, including this regarding the cameras: "The first revelation from MLB’s investigation is that the Astros were employing the live feed from the regular center field camera installed in every ballpark, rather than a custom-installed camera built into Minute Maid for the purposes of signal theft. The source of the camera is important because it means the Astros had the same video feed available on the road as they did at home; their sign-stealing was portable. (The only other element they needed was a way to signal the hitter at the plate, and according to MLB, they tried everything from whistling to yelling to the infamous trash can abuse. They could have employed another method for away games to be a little more discreet.) The portability of the Astros’ scheme helps to shed some light on something I noticed in an article in November: several indicators of their plate discipline performance improved at the same time for both their home and road games, to historic and unprecedented degrees. MLB’s investigation makes no explicit mention of whether the Astros stole signs on the road, but the lack of any need to be at their home ballpark at least opens up that possibility." https://www.baseballprospectus.com/news/article/56411/astros-sign-stealing-hinch-luhnow/ But I guess your singling out of Mike Fiers makes more sense now that you seemingly don't even seem to believe they're cheating, judging by the quotation marks. I can't quite fathom the reaction that after a big cheating scandal breaks, people are more upset about the person who revealed it than about the cheating. Of course Fiers could have spoken out about it sooner, but to be more upset at him than the people who *didn't speak out at all* is absurd. They cheated, yes. But every team is doing it. This does not solely lie with the Astros. Same as PEDs. There were guys on every team doing it, not just the stars.

  23. Agreed. Trevor Bauer is a moron, and yes, the "buzzer" thing is fake. As said by MLB.
  24. Where is this? Other than that initial rumor on the Brewers months ago that was quickly dismissed? Just read the Yahoo.com article about Brosius’s son and the whole Trout/HGH hoopla and Yelich and the Brewers were thrown out at the end.
  25. Yeah, no buzzers, no nothing outside of what MLB shared. Just ignore the dumb twitter guy Jomboy. He’s pro Yankees. Just wait til their cheating news comes out.....
